  • Tchaikovsky is my favorite favorite composer.

  • ...wheres paganini... your ordering isn't chronological for this one...

  • Wonderful selection, it's just a shame so many fantastic pieces have to be left out :)

  • Tchyaikovsky my favorite..... A TRUE ROMANTIC ....

  • @TheRealDeal1515 I had the same experience man! It kind of ruined it for me. All I see is bugs bunny or scenes from Fantasia when I here certain classics! Television has corrupted classical music...

  • Alright, you got my favorite composers on this list, you get my seal of approval.

Chopin and Tchaikovsky and Liszt? Brilliant.

  • what is the name of the very first song?

  • @figuresk8ter444 it's in the description, it's Strauss Jr: Blue Danube Waltz.

    ^^

  • nice choice

  • Thank you. Very detailed and comprehensive. Learned a lot today !!!

  • thank you! i was looking for Night on Bald Mountain :)

  • i'm guessing you must know alot about classical music & so i have a question: i've been looking for a piece for along time now & i have no clue what the title is. it's like a very evil halloween kind of song. they use it in a cartoon for a halloween special. i've you know what it is that would be so awesome :) thanks.

  • @xclaribelx Perhaps you're thinking of Mussorgsky's Night On Bald Mountain, or maybe Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor (ironically, some ppl think this piece sounds evil, but Bach was very devoted to God).

    Hope this helps. :D

  • @xclaribelx Also, there's Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries (the witches)...possibly. :)

  • i love CAN CAN

  • I miss Rachmaninov

  • fabuloso

  • The only one I like here is Hungarian Dance No.5l; the rest can SUCK MY DICK

  • @Luffy0123456789 you must have a small dick

  • RESPETABLE, COINCIDIMOS EN MUCHAS, YO TAMBIÉN HUBIESE PUESTO ALLÍ UN NOCTURNO DE CHOPIN :).

  • Maravillosa selección. Gracias.

  • 2:34 epic moment^^

  • Excellent.

  • i cant ifnd a nocturne :O

  • There should be less Tchaikovsky and more Brahms. Tchaikovsky is highly overrated after his late 20th century revival. Brahms's Symphony No. 3 is better than anything Tchaikovsky ever composed.

  • gotta love the cancan

  • I don't know much about classical music. All I know is that I love it very much.

My favourite composers are Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Chopin. I understand that these guys are classified as being composers from the Romantic Era.

Can anybody recommend composers and pieces of music that I might like based on my preferences? I would appreciate any responses very much.

  • It doesn't matter how many composers there are, their are still masters and geniuses of their own works.

  • Actually the original version of La campanella is from Paganini, and it's way better than the piano version from Liszt

  • Liszt-Hungarian Rhapsody #2

    Liszt-Liebestraum #3

    Liszt-La Campanella

    Schumann-Traumarei

Swan lake, Waltz of the Flowers and the Can Can.

    methodistgirl

  • What is the song at 4:48?

  • @MiRyRE i think its Chopin: Etude Op.10, No.12.

  • @MiRyRE sorry its Liszt: Hungarian Rhapsody No.2

  • @nao1163 Thanks

  • please, what are 4:59 and 7:00?

  • @nao1163 4:59 is "17) Liszt: Dreams of Love" and 7:00 is "24) Chopin: Polonaise Heroic Op.53." If you have the patience to sit there, you can count how many songs have gone by since the start. You can easily tell when a song changes by two things: the music changes speed and key, and the picture changes.

  • @acc96build the thing is, i listen to the video while studying so this is why i dont have time to track which piece was composed by whom. Thank you for your help and sorry if you were irritated by my request.

  • @nao1163 No, really, it's fine! I used to do that! (Although I did have enough spare time...) I was not irritated at all!

  • lmao i typed this music in for a joke to make sum1 laugh in rl , lmaoo its Old music and is gay tbh, Lmaoo! Listen to New music like JLS, or n dubz lmao

  • whats 4:59

  • @007ovensmasher

You are a total idiot if you say that Chopin Schumann and Liszt's music is pointess, unimaginative and very random. Honestly if you think that, stop listening to classical music because you don't know what real feeling or emotion is. Eigther that or listen to a good recording of it, because what you said was not only idiotic, but a disgrace.

  • @justlooseit8567 you sound like a very verbally abusive person. do you speak to you wife and kids that way??? I feel bad for their self esteem and the shit they have to put up with. =/

  • u could write every titles name into the video window, u get lost easily with 26 pieces

  • 3:14 music name please.

  • @tianshi520

That is "waltz of the flowers" from The Nutcracker ballet

  • @tianshi520 : Song12 on this list. It is Tchaikovsky - The NutCracker-Waltz of the Flowers.

  • I'm looking for a particular piece that keeps running in my head but i forgot the name =( hopefully i will find it in your collection =)

  • Amazing selection... really..

  • love Chopin and Brahms (but where is Brahm's Symphony#3, part 3 - one of the most moving pieces of music)

  • Comment removed

  • Chopin my number 1.

  • Of all these guys, Tchaikovski is number one. But absolutely great selection. Way to go!

  • Freakin' love alllll your Tchaikovsky selections. Of course I'd have to add Eugene Onegin, Marche Slave, Iolanta, the violin concerto, Serenade for Strings, Souvenir de Florence...

  • your selections are TERRIFIC for students. I teach SAT prep and math and I play your collections and excerpts int he background. The students don't fall asleep because there is something new coming and there are no lyrics to distract the students. EXCELLENT for setting up a rhythym in the brain.

  • haha, tchaikovsky would be happy that he's featured way more than brahms here

  • lol, Can Can is always a favorite, fun for the violin & other strings

  • I'm in Part 1 with Beethoven.

  • MMM Only one for brahms and mendelssohn? sad :(

  • Blue Danube is all too beautiful.

  • You sweet dear~! You have La Campanella on here! I adore that one~I adore Liszt...so much! (dies of happiness)

  • Oh please ... y Massenet? .... y Gorecki?. Don't forget them

  • Ah jeez, I love Swan Lake. And Tchaikovsky. And the Nutcracker. Hell, I like the 1812 Overture too.

  • only one piece from great Brahms?

    but, a very good job!

  • Brahms is perhaps my favorite composer ever, he has so many amazing pieces: 3 symphony, 4. symphony, 2. piano concerto, waltz no. 15, wiegenlied, Hungarian dance no. 5, Violin Concerto, Requiem and many more. Sad that only the Hungarian dance no. 5 made it to this video.

  • All types of music except opera. But his unsurpassing skill and melody make him one of the greatest composers ever.Viva Brahms!

  • nice job

  • can any one tell me the name of first music?

  • Click more infos in the right Corner ;)

  • johann strauss - the blue danube waltz =)

  • Amazing job! Thanks you very much!!!! I love you :D

  • Chopin Etude Op.10 No.3

  • wow this is cool!

  • mozart died rly young 24 or something like that .... how did he died?

  • He was in his mid 30's. His death is still debated, recently it was mostly aggreed that strep throat killed him, there are also speculations of poisioning (arsonic i believe) and all sorts of things.

  • Look it up.

  • My favorit: Tchaikovsky

  • please let me know cause I feel like I a part of me was left behind without it!!! Don't know anything except that was verdi, but as I mentioned!! was very angelical!!... and very paifully melancolic (in the good sense... if I can say that.. ha ha ha)... please help me!!

  • Gosh!!!! it has been excruciating to open an account in youtube!!!! It was like trying to decipher the meaning of life!!... ha ha ha.. o.k. not that bad in fact that is what I do (more or less). Anyways... just wanted to tell you 0OoFACUoO0 that I love your choices..... and if you ever have time to help me look por a piece of verdi (something very angelical... beautifull) that I heard while in germany...

  • ugh, German and Russian music was so heavy on the brass...reminds me very much of English music around the time of George III. But I do love this music so much. I prefer List 1 (the classical/baroque era) but the romantic era did have some very good music too.

  • Very good choices! I also saw the first video and loved all that music, too. Another great one, in my opinion, is Beethoven's Fidelio Overture. I don't know if you've heard it...but it's a very good piece. :)

  • Where's GRIEG's 'Morning' from the Peer Gynt Suite?
