I tried Logitech wireless number pad, but after it first froze and then released the command on the wrong table I got a wired number pad. The command was fold and the wrong table was nuts on the river when opponent pushed all in. After that I didnt feel like using it anymore. =)
Maybe I should try trackball since normal mouse is hurting my hand. Ideal though would be another pad on the right hand with 3x3 keys for choosing tables. Have you ever tried anything like that?

@warwize thats exactley right..i lost alott of money last night trying it im sure some people can execute it but when im stoned and got a bit of a buzz going its really hard to keep track of what the other players are doing i was playing 5 at a time fifty fiftys and only won two of them placing 2nd and third so i was down like a couple bucks i wouldnt reccomend any more than two tables at a time

NO... YOu are good at multi-tabling. You play a large sample of hands, very TAG style, and hope that your EV stays true. I cant do this. I can do 2 or 3 tables, but everytime i run into a guy like this, I absolutely destroy them. Granted they will take a few bucks off the donks, and the noobs and over time, with enough hands, they will squeak out a 1% ROI, but I would not take their advice.
@TheMitchThompson It depends on many things. You can multi full ring games with ease. I mean 3x full ring games you have MASSIVE excess (aka wasted) time if you're playing only three tables. Even with 10x tables I feel like I'm playing in slow motion. 11-12 is the "sweet spot" in FR for me. Obviously SH and HU games go faster, which means less tables.

I've looked up realistically achieving such a feat at 100nl, I have since gone off the idea! its not the fact that you'll have to mentally deal with down swings, its the fact you have to play constantly until you hit your elite status even then your still sucked into carry on with the milestones, Id rather just play on other skins with good rake back and play less time on less tables. I just wouldn't be happy the volume of hours id have to commit!

i just wanted to start pokerstars and to try to get elite, but i see rule changes now and only thoose who participate in pots can bet vpps...so basically now you need much more time and lots of money to get to elite right? just when i wanted to start T.T
@ddddrazen it's not as bad as you might think, about 15% harder or so for most players. So let's say you may have needed to grind for 7.5 hours in a day, now you'd have to grind about 1 hour longer. So still most definitely achievable.

Lmao, it's only just dawned upon me that you need a desktop to even try multi-tabling seriously. I work on a laptop and 8 tables is a daunting task. @remusny it's hotkeys for quicker betting amounts. it's tied to table ninja, which can help you with your betsizing when playing tons of tables quickly.

@ipsofacto555 i love it, i won't use a regular mouse anymore. I never have hand/wrist problems anymore. some people don't like them though because they are difficult to adjust to at first. if you decide to get one, you will see that they are awkward to use at first but don't give up easily, try it out for at least a week first to get comfortable.

Which poker software is reccomended for someone who wants to play - not necessarily for grinding of this level - but just to help a person out - pokertracker, holdem manager, holdem indicator, it seems like there are a lot of them.
@dannymaclamp Hold'em Manager 2 is the best software out right now. I'd recommend it as the one essential piece of software for both beginners and advanced. It's pretty intense software so don't get overwhelmed, I don't even know half of what is going on either lol, it just came out a few weeks ago.
@Makaron9 not sure what you mean exactly. I just scan the tables from left to right and up and down, almost like in winding snake pattern when I'm playing. And once I get to the right, I move back toward the left in the same pattern. I do this as fast as possible. I don't follow that pattern exactly as some tables may need more attention to others, but it does help to have some sort of routine that is comfortable.
@dannymaclamp well, for expample nanonoko I think doesn't use software because he is playing 24 tables and he pretty much knows how an average player at a particular stake level plays, and because when you are multitabling, you will be playing tight with best hands in best positions, you are gonna just make a standard common sense play. I used the software before but I can also do without the software, it doesn't help as much as you would think
@dannymaclamp what is important is not software, but it is your skill, and to get better skill you have to play alot, you could also learn from books and dvd. That is the thing that gonna make u win or lose, not any software, you dont need software

but they dont. I think durrrr was doing 6 or 7 max. DN was around 5 max.

Which poker software is reccomended for someone who wants to play - not necessarily for grinding of this level - but just to help a person out - pokertracker, holdem manager, holdem indicator, it seems like there are a lot of them.

@dannymaclamp Hold'em Manager 2 is the best software out right now. I'd recommend it as the one essential piece of software for both beginners and advanced. It's pretty intense software so don't get overwhelmed, I don't even know half of what is going on either lol, it just came out a few weeks ago.

@Makaron9 not sure what you mean exactly. I just scan the tables from left to right and up and down, almost like in winding snake pattern when I'm playing. And once I get to the right, I move back toward the left in the same pattern. I do this as fast as possible. I don't follow that pattern exactly as some tables may need more attention to others, but it does help to have some sort of routine that is comfortable.

@dannymaclamp well, for expample nanonoko I think doesn't use software because he is playing 24 tables and he pretty much knows how an average player at a particular stake level plays, and because when you are multitabling, you will be playing tight with best hands in best positions, you are gonna just make a standard common sense play. I used the software before but I can also do without the software, it doesn't help as much as you would think

@dannymaclamp what is important is not software, but it is your skill, and to get better skill you have to play alot, you could also learn from books and dvd. That is the thing that gonna make u win or lose, not any software, you dont need software

@robditDOTcom I have 3 separate graphics cards since my motherboard supports multiple PCI-E slots, but I hear there are single cards out now that will run up to 6 monitors at once such as the ATI Radeon HD 5870
