What if it had been Riley that pumped it and pulled the trigger think it was unloaded....would you have thought he deserved more than 6 months for an accident?....there's people that intentionally kill people and get less time......drugs alcohol and ignorance don't go well together.....
Obviously you do not know the truth or even the proven facts related to this horrific incident. Just be thankful it was not your loved one......I'm pretty sure your opinion might be slightly different.
I agreee with you jda,,, I severley misss riley, and justice was NOT served,,, the guy that killeed did kill him wether our not he ment tio is beside the point, he deserved way longer than 6 months !!!
for the record, 2008cobra1, there was not a "party" going on. The murderer's own statement was that he WAS NOT drinking and if I remember the facts stated in court (and I was there for every second of the so-called trial), he tested negative for alcohol and drugs. He admitted to have smoked pot a few days or the day before but even that did not show in his system....so that "excuse" for taking someone's life does not hold water.
Granted I don't believe he took Riley's life purposely but his reckless actions DID take his life. The person who did this was already on probation for "deadly behavior"...well, his behavior soon led to the death of a young man. Please make sure you have your facts straight before commenting. There are many, many people still hurting from this horrible event and you posting untrue statements only adds to their pain. Thank you!
You can't say justice wasn't served.....they were all drinking and doing drugs and had a brilliant idea of playing with a.shot gun and pointing it at each other and pulling the trigger....it could have been anyone else at that party that was dumb enough to play with a gun that they assumed was unloaded....the kid that got 6 months didn't not want to kill him...he shouldn't have got any time....I'm sure he already feels bad about it......but that's my 2 cents.....
this is so sad i couldnt even finish watching it its amazing how much one person can change everyone and riley was that one person he was friends with everyone and now he is missed by everyone its not the same without him
