The planets would have far less. But a brown dwarf of 8 to 30 times Jupiter mass on a trajectory between Mars and Venus say would cause tidal surges, earthquakes, solar storms, volcanic eruptions ,power blackouts.
Just the Moon causes a tidal surge of roughly between 1.5 and 3m
Hypothetically speaking of course, if there was such a celestial object in existence that's obvious but the point is, there is no brown dwarf with a trajectory that takes it between Mars & Venus so there is no threat of any catastrophic, gravitational influences on earth. If there was such an object then apart from perturbations in the orbits of the planets, there would be isotopic & stratigraphic evidence of its previous passings but there is none.
That's right though we don't have any evidence to suggest that we are part of a binary system therefore no reason to worry about brown dwarfs situated over 4 light years away.

If we are looking for a star perhaps a brown dwarf star that might have a planet around it then wouldn't that star fit within the definition of "than any near star to our solar system". Thus this does not solidify an actual distance the brown dwarf might be because it is a star itself. What she should have said to be more clear would be "not any closer than Alpha Centauri which is 4.2421

I will however try to simplify for the less knowleable of you. The brown dwarfs are no nearer than any other star, Ie we're talkinga bout things VERY far away, 10s of light years, way other parts of the galaxy. Planet X is a planet in out solar system it has cicular orbit, therefore it will never come at all close to earth. This is the problem when you listen to experts when you have no base understanding of the principles involved. There is nothing unclear about this.

Taking the Newton universal gravitational constant G we define the sun as having the gravitational force of one at the Earths distance then the moon would have a value of 2.21 on average. The planets would have far less. But a brown dwarf of 8 to 30 times Jupiter mass on a trajectory between Mars and Venus say would cause tidal surges, earthquakes, solar storms, volcanic eruptions ,power blackouts.
Just the Moon causes a tidal surge of roughly between 1.5 and 3m

Hypothetically speaking of course, if there was such a celestial object in existence that's obvious but the point is, there is no brown dwarf with a trajectory that takes it between Mars & Venus so there is no threat of any catastrophic, gravitational influences on earth. If there was such an object then apart from perturbations in the orbits of the planets, there would be isotopic & stratigraphic evidence of its previous passings but there is none.

That means IF Nibiru exists, and IF its on a trajectory to hit us, it will be millions of years in the future, about the same time (millions of years) that our own sun will go red giant (really bad time for earth). Pluto, the furthest object in our Solar System is about 6 light HOURS away. Multiply by 4 to get 1 DAY. Multiply that # by 365 to get 1 yr. 4 light YEARS is plenty safe. So, what I hear her saying is that they haven't found Planet X or brown dwarfs in the solar system, but they haven't finished analyzing the data. If there is anything in the outer solar system, they should find it because they have already found several brown dwarfs beyond the distance of the nearest star.. Is this wrong?

When a legitimate answer come out it will always be made by a male spokesman and not a women. women in the news media are always being used to shift you thoughts on how you view stuff. study's have shown when a women is trying to sell you stuff it is most likely that you will go out and buy the product more often than when a male is trying to sell you same stuff. note when you by axe body spray its not a man talking it is a women doing talking to get you to buy the product.
