Sure, but technological advances would greatly negate the cost of a paying a westerner a real wage. The suits just want that extra $20 per unit that would go to a living wage.
@bowlingballout I think the fault lies more with the Feds and state governments (especially California) and their restrictive regulations, closed shop laws, etc. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for pollution control. The Feds and suits that control them prefer a non-industrialized people who are easier to control. They're more interested in "Defense" Department manufacturing contracts for weapons than useful products that create quality jobs.
FREDDIE VISION!!!!!! HAhahahaahaha.....LMAO! Oh my God! I remember that. Weirdest f-in commercials. I loved each and every one of them. Shadow Stevens was a pimp.
Classic! The 1980's even had the best commercials, Federated was fun to shop at back then and had a great selection of video games and let's not forget one of the only places to get Atari ST computers! I remember another commercial with a bunch of sumo's or something slapping their stomachs.
Wow! It's been a long time.

0:45 a programmable VCR for only $409? What a deal. In today's money that would be about $3K.

Which Fred Rated commercial was that where it sounds like an applause, but they're all slapping their bellies as a rubber chicken goes across?
