Im going to have try your technique. Every time I wash my truck there is always a film on it and its a pain to get off. I have always been afraid of using a buffer (dont wont to burn the paint). I'm going to have to go out and get me one of those buffers. Get work like always man.....................
i admire your view on the cash4clunkers stuff.......
we have the truck that brought me home from the hospital 19 years ago when i was born.. still runs fantastic, a lil 305 that gets 17 mpg... wouldnt trade it for the world :)
amen to that brother u said it, why not keep old ones runnin longer instead of buying newer ones. morons who trade good vechicles for prolly a hyundai or honda lmao joke
you seem like you know what your doing, so quick question
i have little spots on my car, were it looks like the clear coat is gone and the paint has turned from red to redish white, how can i fix this without painting?
okay bro, i have a truck that is a 2000, and i neglected washing it for 23 months, and its black...(oh boy), so when I washed it today, half of the damn thing is oxidized and rough on 1 side, and the other is fine. I'm like wtf? Any suggestions??? Thanks
will this help me on my 18 year old truck its got black paint never been washed barley any rust but will this help or make all the imperfections stick out
500 I loved this video- I hated that cash for clunkers too- what a scam. I have the same exact door edge problem on my wife's Grand Cherokee. Just need to add that wire wheel to my grinder and will go rich on the hardner. Thanks for that great tip.
500, thanks for the video on waxing.. I have oxidation on my car, blk bmw. I've always hand waxed my car, and stayed away from polishers or "buffers" because of swirls.. But after viewing your video, I will buy a polisher from autozone. Thanks again for the video! 5 stars
i would try to do it on a cloudy day ,or under a tree in the shade. if you cant get out of direct sunlight just try to do it on a cool day when the temperature is around 70 .
Thats a really nice truck you got there. I really respect you and the pride you take in everything you own. I only hope one day my work will be half as nice as yours.
I bet those Ford and BMW guys are democrats, that's why they use crappy brake pads. Careful with that drill, your dog doesn't look like he'd appreciate something that heavy being dropped on his foot. LOL
fantastic video, HELLO SOCCER MOM LOL,ive always been afraid to use a buffer,a guy even gave me 1 or those pricey milwaukee high speed buffers but i never used it.but that low speed buffer looks like the ticket and its given me some confidence to do it myself THANK YOU VERY MUCH ANDY!!!!
I hear ya on the cash for clunkers crap, they ain't gettin my truck. I had to do the same thing to the doors on my 2000 chevy, so far so good. Your truck sure looks good for having a year on mine. Funny thing is I just went all through it and cleaned it inside and out just yesterday. Great minds think alike apparently. lol.
Good job on that. I need to buy one of those buffers. By the way, I've heard the Gov't is going to make everyone that took those cash for clunker rebates pay tax on it like it was income. That's hilarious...
have to disagree on the wax.Gliptone makes the greatest! they have NO fillers unlike the others, reason being they're a small company still following their original formula :)
tried many brands and i haven't yet found a Gliptone product that I don't like :D all are easy to use, work extremely well, and also almost every gliptone product has a great scent! :)
All I can say Andy is WOW best looking 10 year old truck I have seen. Makes me so mad setting here watching you do all those nice things and I have to be all crippled up and cant do some of the things I want to do.
No Andy I have seen all your videos and love them all, I dont have much use of my legs and other problems and well just keep up the good work my friend.
i like how the drill falling out the truck doesnt even faze the dog. that thing looks great man. unreal difference on the hood. are you a mothers wax distributor?
damn man, here i been buffing my toyota thursday , waxed it 3 times since then by hand, so that damn salt water air dont mess up mah truck, that $40 buffer you have seems to work better then this damn freebie one i have, Think im goin to throw that thing away! lol...
. it works pretty good on my truck . but i guess it depends on how good paint is to begin with . in indiana we have to deal with all the ice melting salt in the winter , thanks for the stars :)
Another great vid. I love the attention to detail.
