We have two standards that we adore. I'm afraid they might fetch the paper too...the only problem is they LOVE to shred the newspaper so it wouldn't be safe once they got it in the house! . My male likes to fetch things but he refuses to give them up. If you toss something and ask my girl to fetch she simply looks at you like you're nuts.
Great dogs, eh? Saw the agility training video. Did you see my other SP doing agility on YT. Get rid of that leash and keep up with that agility training- great fun.

My neighbors dog fetches but if you try to take it from her she will growl. I hope to get one of these when I'm older.

Lol... a dog fetching the paper is sort of the 'ideal' of a wonderful family and life - having it be a Poodle makes it like heaven :)

Even our mini loves to fetch. They all chase, fetch and return the Frisbee. You could easily train with a clicker a "relese".
