A few month before my best friend died we listened to this song and talked about life  destiny and changing.

I looked into his eyes; full of sadness and desperation as he started to cry in the moment of the lyrical part:"Give me my wings!"

If I think about it, I wish that he got his wings!

And my memories are a reminder to me that life appears sometimes in a difficult way, a random falling of people who lived or died in pain.

Hope I never forget the simple things, worth and needed to live for!

man i was at this show, last time i saw them. and only time i shroomed. don't recommend it but it was a hell of a time, and oddly enough my section was pretty well behaved. i would say it was the best show i saw them play, and i saw them 5 times on that tour, the vibe was just on point, you could feel the cool breeze from the beach on that venue.

This song is single-handedly enough to make one buy a ticket without hesitation... I was not even high or anything when this song was playing, nor was I high at all during the show I saw them at, but, it still made me feel like I was in a different world. I was lucky enough to see them at Bonnaroo two years ago and vowed to see them at least once every year after that lol. It is an a phenominal experience, especially if you love the band.

Words can't describe something like this. Whatever chance you get to see Tool live, take it. Especially in this sort of setting, as opposed to festivals. Big difference. Still great, but there's something about Tool when it's not a festival... again, words don't suffice.

What a beautiful, beautiful song. This is one of those songs where you can relate to it and apply it to the loss of a family member who fits Maynard's mother.

Tool is a very special band that deserves all the praise in the world. They are one of the few bands in this time that creates thought provoking, emotional, and powerful music that EVERYONE should appreciate.

My dream is to see Tool live, but also to experience THIS song live. I want to be there to feel a religious experience.

You said it very well. I did experience this live, and the way you describe it is just that. Unfortunately, I wouldn't be surprised if they treat this song as an exclusive for the set of that particular tour.

this was the best song that I've ever seen in concert from Tool. they had a much bigger stage set up with bigger screens when I saw it and it still gives me goosebumps even when I watch it at Youtube size.
