@paradoxdesigns this is quite a bit overrated for video editing, but if you are handling 1080p video with a lot of rendering and such, this laptop will handle it pretty well.

@krst072491 its alright mate and if you are thinking about getting a laptop like this be careful because they use mobile graphics cards - Nvidia GTX560m that around the same as a dektop GTX460. So be careful.

@krst072491 Okay basically as you know laptops are smaller than desktops and are less capable at processing information. This means the techonolgy has not yet been created on laptops that can surpass the power of a desktop.

@krst072491 i have too doo this in parts because of the comment limit. Still with me? So on laptop standards the graphics card Nvidia GTX560m is very high and is powerful, for a laptop. The 'm' on '560' means mobile. Mobile is only used in laptops because laptops can only process a certain amount of information so they are given mobile graphics cards. Anything with 'm' on the end and is a graphics card is a laptop graphics card. graphics cards without 'm' are desktop graphics cards.

@krst072491 Graphics cards are also known as GPU's by the way. LOL i hope your still with me. So like i said laptops cannot process as much information as a desktop. So the Nvidia GTX560m is a high end laptop graphics card, It can process good graphics but not as good as a desktop graphics card. So a desktop can process information better than a laptop, meaning the high level laptop gpu - Nvidia GTX560m is around the same the medium medium/low level deskptop gpu Nvidia GTX460.

Basically if you are into gaming which i assume you are then you will want to buy as desktop as they are much more powerful than laptops. If im completely ohnest you should build your own desktop or laptop. If you tell me where you live e.g America, U.K, Australia..etc. i can give you very good sites to custom build a laptop or pc.

@krst072491 buying a laptop or desktop for gaming is never worth it because the companies e.g Dell, alienware. Are rubbish they add a humongoss number to your price just for the brand and components/hardware that is uneccesary. If you are not dependent on gaming, just say. @Moonface00z ok. If you want to play battefield 3 on high resolution without getting all that low fps. Then you need a good GPU and a fairly good amount of RAM. Battelfield 3 doesnt depend that much on you CPU just so you know.

@WISKYJOE2 It's not a disk, MSI and Asus notebooks does not include Windows Disk, it only comes with hidden recovery partition and you have to burn your own recovery disk.

i had a funny experience with my MSI. same day as i got it, i accidently pushed the plast piece that fills the multicard reader. the day after, i was gamin Just Cause 2, heard a spring sound, then something hit the wall at the other end of the room (around 5m distance), walked over, and found the plast piece on the floor. it had literally been stuck in there over night. be careful with that. getting hit by it, could hurt.

@GerassimGanchev1999 This actually only comes stock with 12 GB of RAM, it is expandable to 16 GB. I'm sure the speakers have different quality, of course the difference in screen size and about $50. I ordered my gt683r from superbiiz, they had a great deal on it so it was a bigger difference, about $150 (it has gone up recently). I would also look at the warranty, the Qosmio only has 1-Yr Parts and Labor, 1-Year Battery, this has the 2 year limited and a 1 year accidental damage.

The GTX 560m is practicaly the same as the GTX 460m...just with higher clock...for the price of $1599...i think the ASUS G53 or G73 are better since you get extras like a Razor Mouse and a Backpack...

@Jorlanjm For me it is more important to get better HW than just some mice,you can buy a new mice whenever you want but you cannot change ur GPU in a laptop except for some rare models...And btw i hae the GT680R and it comes with 3600dpi mouse its not bad at all,but i got the Razer Mamba...So what i try to say is we pay for a Laptop not for a shinny mice and cheep backpack!
