A large majority of their students are accepted into great colleges around the world, and are known for being men for others. The Jesuits also helped bring Christianity to Japan, the Spice Islands, and India. They brought Christianity to North America and were martyred in the name of God. If you are saying that they are evil, where is your proof?

My friend, you are missing the whole point of Jesus' death and resurection. He did not expect that we be saints on earth, he knows as human beings we are born in sin and remain imperfect. It is impossible for anyone to claim to be free from imperfections and be holy and a saint in the current world we live in, unless you isolate yourself from the world. To do this is easy and doesn't show true strength of will, just avoiding any chance of committing sin.

And every religion that has been started is because some man thought he was somehow smart enough to figure it all out and decided that "I'm enlightened" and will begin my own sect. In this case, history was recorded in writing soon after the death of Christ but at some point, how do we know ALL writings are legit? Legitimate authority (the heirs of those who received the Holy Spirit during Pentacost, not just those who appointed themselves smart) gathered to make those decisions and the Catholic Bible was created.

The King James version of the Bible is the most stunning example of re-editing legitimate writings to serve political purposes - its even called the King James Bible and we live in America! In many of the letter's of St Paul, his greetinmgs/farewells usually made reference to the saints, that is people who where beleivers,practising the faith to the full and making the effort to live holy lives according to the gospel.For example: The letter of St. Paul to the Philippians 1:1, Colossians 1:2,Hebrew 13:24, etc.

Jesus demands from each one of us that we be perfect as our heavenly Father is perfect and St. Pual says ' this is the will of God, your sanctification'.
