I interviewed the owner of Hubig's for a school project... Then I moved to WA... I miss them. But I got a giant box of pies to take to my class the next day! :D I miss them though.
eating a hubig apple pie now .. which is what gave me the idea to search it but these pies are the BESST i live a little north of new orleans ( in ponchatoula) and these pies are at every gas station grocery store you go in cause their #1
They went around right after Katrina and put a lemon pie on every stoop. I can't tell you how wonderful that pie was. They are always very nice when you walk by.
eric, I also have the strongest craving for a hubig sweet potato pie and a cup of dark roast coffee from the cawfee shoppe right around the corner from hubig's dauphine street location.
Thank you for posting this. Sometimes I cuss them at 10PM when they and Standard Coffee are working overtime. The combination of smells keeps me from sleeping. Just a little too inviting to go to sleep.
