Great album just recorded wrong seems they spent more time just focusing on a killer drum sound. Not pour quality but put in a Motley crue disk and compare the dynamics. Kiss music on record never sounded like they did live. This song rocks....
I love the parts where Gene yells: "Herself filled with Desiaaaaar!!" and "Make you walk through Fiiiiaaaaaarr!!!". Gene Simmons has such a brutal sounding voice and it's a little humorous sounding too. Gene Simmons rocks
Does anyone think Killer from COTN sounds more than similar to Deep Purple's Highway Star especially when Gene sings, "oooooooohhhh it's guaranteed...." Pretty similar to what Ian Gillan sings in Highway Star when he sings, "ohhhhhhhhh it's a killer machine..." Same chord progression, vocal melody and everything. I think Gene was looking for an instant hit and he found one, only it was written by Deep Purple first.
If it was Vinnie Vincent playing rather than Ace Frehley, was he told to play the song like Ace would have played it? I mean his playing seems more similar to Ace Frehley than it does on his solo Vinnie Vincent Invasion stuff
Creatures is 1 hell of an album!

It wouldn't be the first time they ripped off Deep Purple. The main riff on "I Stole Your Love" bares a striking resemblance to that of "Burn."

@dell4bq, that is a big stretch,. i just listened to both I'm not hearing it.
