this is one of the best ones imopo and to be perfectly honest the last really good gozilla movie, godzilla vs biollonte was ok good FX but i didnt like seeing godzilla turn back into a bad guy but i liked this 1 because it was a more modern version of the original, but i thought the FX were really cool and i loved the musical score but later on they started remaking godzilla vs mothra, godzilla vs monster0, godzilla vs mechagodzilla, where they were the good & godzilla was bad, i hated that.

Old godzilla- Flexy,can do a jump-kick,funny(refering to the victory dance in Ghidora The 3 headed monster),and is pretty awesome!

new Godzilla-uh.............liked how they "upgrade" the atomic breath(the fire ray thing) to pure red and orange, Cant do funny stuff anymore:(, and is buffed up a bit!

So i perfer Both godzillas....if the new 2012-2013 one has the quities of both new and old godzillas than i would watch it.

This is my favourite Godzilla movie. I think it perfectly depicts everything about Godzilla that makes him the ominous force of power that he is. I first saw it when I was 3, and I'm glad that this dark, eerie, touching, and epic film was one of my first memories

I actually never liked this one as a kid, it was too dark and gloomy for me. But as an adult, it's become one of my favorites. After an entire decade of silliness, this movie took Godzilla back to its roots. The upcoming remake/reboot should definitely stick to this serious style.

Toho is working with Legendary Pictures an Warner Bro's already to bring Godzilla back to the U.S. in 2012 or 2013.

Gareth Edwards is the director an it will respect the 1954 Classic an have nothing to do with the 98 movie at all.... Godzilla will look like the Toho Godzilla an will battle 1 or more monster's in the film.

CGI wasn't what ruined the 1998 Zilla movie... What ruined it was it wasn't Godzilla in design or attitude, it ran from the military, ate fish, died by a couple jet's, an laid eggs that turned into baby Raptors. Not to mention the Crappy Dialog ''That's a lot of fish'' or the stupid romance shit with that blonde reporter..

The directors n writers also weren't fans of the franchise, So it was doomed to fail. This time we have a lot more going for this film. Stay positive friend

Well to be fair, Toho has used CG in Godzilla since the 90's but more so from Godzilla 2000 to Final Wars. Not to mention Toho had Godzilla full CG cameo in (Always 2) film.. He looked fine an let's face it our CG is much better an detailed then there's.

So while Godzilla is known for being a man in a suit, that doesn't mean the Reboot will disappoint because of it being CG. Besides CG isn't what ruined the 98 movie, it was everything else.

Which was the whole point of the film. Essentially a reboot of Godzilla, King of the Monsters (hence, also bringing back Raymond Burr as Steve Martin) by bringing Godzilla back to his darker, more destructive roots given how  "childish" he became in several of the previous films.

The same with many films after; Godzilla, even though he does save the Earth against some foes, they DON'T change the fact that he's still a destructive force of nature ready to wipe out mankind.

It was explaining that man hasn't learned there lesson about the over-exposure of Nuclear Energy, which then gives birth to a New Godzilla, It ignores everything but the Original 1954 film, which was a very serious film an left all the cheesy kid stuff out.

It was pretty much an entire new start, an it was... This Series was done quite well an was a great revival to the franchise. Like a re-introduction to the character.

Love the fact that the next 5 or 6 films were actual Sequels
