Led Zeppelin is the best hard rock group of all time. Queens of the Stone Age is the best hard rock group of the past 10 years, and Dave Grohl is the best modern hard rock drummer. There is no rock group out right now that even comes remotely close to these guys. I got some good footage of them on my page from their NYC show! There's a difference in between bands that become mainstream, and bands that play to be a part of the mainstream. The Foo Fighters may have some songs that are "mainstream", but that doesn't make them a mainstream band, nor are they the term that's generally associated with mainstream, sell-outs. As for QOSTA, I can tell you don't have much info backing you up. Go listen to Songs for the Dead and Make it Wit Chu, and tell me there's no variation.
