I teach elementary school and junior high school in Japan and all my kids love korea and K-pop, AND I have worked in both rural prefectures and tokyo, so I think you guys are wrong.

I asked in English class, "What do you like?" and a couple of kids said "I like Korea, or K-pop".

Don't feel bad right-wingers, these kids still love Japanese music too. Don't feel intimidated by Korean culture. Koreans love Japanese culture too. I worked in Seoul last year.
