i find the 3ds boat to be ugly and not all that necessary. It kinda takes away from the experience of it being a portable to carry around in your pocket, and no i'm not wearing cargos just to carry the boat and 3ds. I still want a 3ds tho, but they should just stick to a virtual dpad for shooters or just redesign the 3ds with a second analog stick (which we all know is gonna happen XD) it just seems unacceptable to put an add-on on as fine a system as this, and take away from gameplay.

This seems interesting to me. Provides better control for certain games (First-Person shooters for starters) and doesn't seem to add too much bulk to the system. It also doesn't seem like it will be too expensive either.

I bought the 3DS on day one, and I have yet to be disappointed(the 3D is great, and Street Fighter/Blazblue are great games, especially since I don't have a PS3/Xbox 360 to play them). Unless this expansion is expensive (I'm hoping for 10-20 dollars), I'm not complaining.

And this is not made by Nintendo; but rather, Capcom because Monster Hunter Tri G is just a revamp port of MH Tri from the Wii and Capcom said that they want to capture the same control style from MH Tri. First of all there was no announcement from a reliable source. Just a rumor and the pictures which I believe are themselves are a mockup as well. At first I thought the device would communicate with the 3DS via the 2 metal contacts which are used for the charge cradle connector pins, but from farther examination of the photos that show the back, the contacts are exposed.
