  • fuck pre-AP classes -.-

  • Thanks, great help!

  • I don't get why I have to listen to my horrible teacher, when I can just sit my butt here, learn at my own pace, and actually understand this stuff! Thank you, Youtube.

  • why does it take my teacher almost 2 hours to explain this and he can do it in 6 minutes 46 seconds?

  • @lifelove097 I remember my teacher(s)taking a whole week to go over just one concept and I still would not get it.

  • @sol0fate shit my teacher use like 6 boards to get these kind of anwser in i got lost.

  • @sol0fate ikr i am horrible in math and i look down on myself because all the other kids understand immediately or i will understand but forget or screw up on a test.

  • i have a test tomorrow

  • i need to do this for my homework, please help!!

A triangle has vertices A(3,-2), B(2,-14) & C(-2,-4). Find the gradients of the straight lines AB, BC & CA. Hence prove that the triangle is right angled.

  • lololololololool

  • how did u get the 25-33/5? i dont see where the 25 came from

  • @ramwal99 he changed 5 ( which was the y he substituted) to a fraction so he could do the next problem (25 over 1)

  • @xAjmiller34x and how do u change the 5 into 25?

  • @ramwal99 lol multiply 5 by 5

  • thumbs up if your in kempers class!!

  • hi, i would really appreciate if u made some of the hard math videos in bangla only with your voice over... thanks

  • thanks alot dude

  • what happened at 5:54 where did the 25-33 come from did you multiply the two fives/

  • @Tylernmrn I -believe- it is because to subtract/add fractions you have to have a common denominator.

  • @uns33ntr4th They don't represent anything except that Y= Vertical line and X=Horizontal line. X and Y are used normally to represent unknown numbers, or as i told the axis.

  • Gotta Say Man, that Really helped, very easy to understand now, thank you

  • I need help:

Indicate in standard form the equation of the line passing through the given point and having the given slope.

    D(5, -2), m = 2/5

  • @joseoperezvrd First you have to start with the Point Slope Form. So that would be y+2=2/5(x-5).

    That's y+2=2x/5-10/5. y=2x/5. Now you can plug in the numbers for A and B in the Standard Form. y-2x=1/5 Then let x=0. y-2(0)=1/5. y=1/5 Then let y=0. 0-2x=1/5 x=-10

I hope this answered your question. If not then my b...

  • KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAANNN~

  • i wish you were my math teacher

  • this guy is a genius

  • omg ty im sure to pass my test

  • Come to my school and please teach my math teacher how to teach!!!

  • What kind of software are you using?

  • Shouldn't 2 point be solved with two-point form instead?

  • where did he get the 25 on 6:06

  • @shinigamirenegade

I know he must have covered this in pre algebra but he should repeat what he is doing. God knows he is not short on words.

  • @shinigamirenegade the 5 in 5-33/5 is the same thing as 25/5, then 25/5-33/5 is the same thing as (25-33)/5

sorry i cant do real fractions on my computer

  • Now that's how you teach math. I don't need to memorize the equation because I understand why it is the equation. Knowing how it works just means that's what I would do to solve it anyway even if I didn't know there was an equation. Thanks so much. Oh I tried to look up why "M" is used and it seems that its probably from modulus of a line so basically the movement of the line or point.

  • 2 people who dislike this obviously don't know an amazing teacher like you.

  • LEGEN wait for it... DARY

    YOU THE MAN!

  • Can you please be my teacher

  • thanks i just got an A on my test you da man

  • thanks you made my life easier.....for real..

  • thank you.

  • I agree your teaching is outstanding

  • gr8 THANKS!!!

  • Yeah he is Bangladeshi! :D

  • @rayz3678 Seriously i thought hes indian

  • I love you!! thank you!!!!

  • what would be perpendicular to y=4x-2 and passes through (-8,2)

  • @dancer4life19411 is this your homework?

  • I think m and b are just random variables that people use. In Singpore we use

    y = mx+c

  • so... (correct me if i'm wrong. please...)

slope is like the ratio of rise to run? 2 means the rise is twice the run,

1/8 means the rise is 1/8th the run,

    etc.?

  • @eelrachet - That is correct. If it helpy to visualize, you can re-write 2 as, 2 over 1.

  • can you get a degree instead or the rise then run?

  • w00t!!!!!

  • thaank you so much... you have helped me revise! yay us! a * here ii come

  • sa confusing ~_~

  • @greater1000

u should review other videos regarding the subject in Sal's site.

  • can you take two plots on the graph lets say (5,9) and (11,13) and solve for the slope that way????

  • @aero, are you referring to this line or if you have those two points and need to find the equation?

  • @aero1927 yes follow the equation y2-y1 over x2-x1 and you should get 2/3 as the slope hope that helps =)

  • I need this to do an exam of 10º, thanks

  • i love you thank you sooo much I have a test tomorrow

  • thank you, dont know if i did it right but thanks anyway. gotta question what standard do u think this grade is around?! im in 7th grade

  • OMG! I will have a quiz about this in the morning. You help me a lots, I love you!(just a joke^^) I think watching your video is better than reading my thick maths book.

    {p.s:I know my eng grammar is poor, sorry~ I still learning eng hard & hardly, orz}

  • lots of my friends study books like crazy. and when they saw this they say it's too messy to understand. but i learned in 5minutes with this video, what they learned in like 1 or 2 hours while reading their books!

  • Lol, why didnt he use that straight line tool to draw the axis xD Only critisism from me lol. My maths teacher will mark u a grade down if u hand in homework and its messy the slightest.

Great video though! I was never taught this stuff in GCSE. Now i do A-Level maths, 2nd week and my teacher is saying we should have been strong on this from GCSE o.O.. Really dont wanna fall behind cause of the 'simple' stuff haha. Thanks for the vids man, your a real help!! !

  • i got a test this friday and this vid saved me. my teacher just throws the work at my class and expects us to teach ourselves.

  • 5 starts. excelent

  • five stars arent enough i give u ten stars!

  • no over 9000!! cuz he helped me to get an A+ yesterday!!!

  • I am a biology student, so i dont understand much of co-ordinate geometry, i was trying to understand this god damn equation for more than 4-5 hours. WHen i saw ur video, i didnt have words to thank you.......u r a life saviour!

  • @koulamit well, apparently, he cant save your grammar.

  • this videos are perfect

  • I can do this part of Algebra easily. Its Quadratic equations that give me the largest headaches.

  • ok does anyone know how he got 25 towards the end of the video. did he multiply the 5 with the denominator of 33 over 5

  • yea i don't get thatr part either...

    can anyone explain?

  • I got confused to, I think its cross multiplication cuz 5= 5 over 1

  • i've always used c instead of b - doesn't make a difference though

  • I thought I was pretty smart when I already knew the formulas and answer! but I calmed down when I realized its simple eighth grade mathematics!

  • I have exams next week, while I was watching this she comes in and says "I thought you were studying!" I'm like..."I am o.O"

  • omg thank you so much! i had honors for algebra and my teacher doesnt teach me anything and i failed the math course so now i have to repeat again next year :/

  • thnx so much! I forgot my text book, and have a quiz on this tomorrow!!!!!! So thnx again!

  • como vou saber como ele eh se naum estah em portugues?

  • With the way you teach, 1st graders would get this.

Btw, in what grade should kids be learning this?

  • usualy 9th or 8th

  • awesome job! Thanks for the video dude! It really really helped me out a bunch with my math!

  • this guys is hilarius.. "ah my fone is ringing let me turn down the volume" lmao awesome =D

  • um one question dude how come u didnt divide -11 over 5 but instead u left it as a fraction

  • Because -11 is x and 5 is y. In other words, you would graph x=-11 and y=5. Now, if the answer was 2/4 then you would reduce to 1/2 and graph either number and now that each point would be on the line. I hope this answered you question.

  • thanks for da help man

  • no one on this site can even compare to you

  • thanks, helped a lot.

  • great excellent my friend.................
