I use to have this game and its one of the best games on the Atari 5200. This and Mountain King were great on the Super System. I agree that Mark should review more Atari games. Reviews for the Lynx, Jaguar, 5200 and 7800 would be mush appreciated.

Seems like such a cool idea for a game. But I can't imagine playing this with 2 5200 controllers each in your hand, thumbs on the sticks. I would probably tape them down to the floor and play it pincering the sticks with my pointer finger and thumb.

I think I finally figured out why I love you reviews so much. You make your reviews sound so personalized like you are only talking to the listener and not a wide group. This was one of my favorite games on my 5200 until one of my controllers broke. For those of you that have a PSP this game is on the Taito Legends Power Up disc. Since any controller is a step up from the 5200 the game plays much better.

Mark, just superglue two atari 5200 controllers to a hunk of plywood. Thats what our family did, and now our atari 5200 looks like a cabinet, just without the sweet graphics all over.

It's not really fair to say the controller configuration is awkward because you aren't using the correct controller configuration. The controller holder is pretty easy to find for sale online and it makes a world of difference. It turns your two controllers into a dual stick setup that is very comfortable and perfect Robotron (the other game that came with the controller holder).

Cant you use duct tape or double sided tape to stick the controllers to a heavy piece of wood or something? I did that with two 2600 CX-40 joysticks to play Super Smash TV on the Genesis and it worked pretty well.

This game is one of the best excuses to hunt down the MAME emulator and a decent pair of PC arcade sticks or a good dual analog controller. Unless you have a 5200, then this version would work too.

I reckon you should go on Machinima and do like a weekly show. It would really brighten up the channel and bring a nice change to the usual Modern Warfare 2 videos. You could do something like 'CGR's Amazing Adventure's in Games!' and do stuff like that thing about the Carnegie Mellon E.T.C University.

Get the duct tape out and a TV tray...Tape the joysticks together then duct the whole unit down to the table leave room for buttons if need be...lol...I had to tape a mad catz steering wheel down to a table one time for the 64...this is a little different but I bet if you used enough duct tape they would be sturdy enough for you to throw down some space dungeon...looks cool thanks for sharing...
