henry kissinger once said, I'm paraphrasing here, you can do this you can do that, but do not expect your action won't have consequences. Bush and his people seem to believe, or forced by their constituency to pretend to believe, that the other side, be it Russia, Iran, China, or any other country in the world, their action won't have consequences, and the other side should and would raise white flag before the first shot is even fired. it's ridiculous.

hate the other side, but any adult with half a brain would know that the other side has their own interest to consider and the other side would map their course of action based on their own interest, not the interests of the US. Apparently, people who support Bush believe the other side would base their decision on the interests of America's. While that's certainly an attractive world for America to live in. THAT'S NOT REALITY. The world doesn't work that way.
