totaly amazing song,, the who album was amaxing, this song i hold great memories with, when me and my mates were driving round listeing to it in our first gang car,  a vauxhall chevett. sadly 1 of the mates died on a motbike accident,,, so in a way i will remember him through this album.... wish phil collins or genesis would reunite....

Without a doubt, Genesis were years ahead in terms of musical maturity and this song proves that. Amazing lyrics, music lines and a haunting tune. I still reckon the set they filmed this video on was also used in Blade Runner movie :-) Still, fantastic song .. thanks for sharing ..

In 1987 Janet Jackson's Lets's wait awhile stood at #2 on the pop charts for 2 straight weeks and seemed poised to go all the way to the top ,but on the third week this song by Genesis skiped over her with this Timeless classic and was the new #1 ,. Janet's song stood at #2 for another week and then slipped down the charts from then on . I was really disappointed but ieventually had to admit This was and still is the JAM !
