This game is a classic dude. It's not "suckish" I remembered when I was like 7 or 8 years old that I used to play this on my grandpas computer. I thought this was the best game I have ever played. So, no this game does not suck.

actually the first fps game was in the 80s on the commodore 64 , it was called M.O.O.D and it runs exactly how Wolfeinstein 3d and Doom run.The game was an illusion of 3d though but it was a great game just with bad pixels

okay, iphone sucks not so hard :) aside from that i love wolfenstein. but the controls look like shit. i think that's the prob with iphone and games. touchscreen is very nice but there have to be real buttons too.

you would think that, but they aren't as bad as you may think. As a big bonus, the buttons can be labeled what they are rather than remembering what button is missles, guns, etc. Most control issues stem from lack of sensitivity adjustment rather than fundamental bad design. It also helps that most games are designed to work primarily with the motion control. I've played the DS plenty and have a modded PSP and the iPhone is better than both.

Actually they really are not to bad at first THEY ARE A BITCH!!! but after a little bit u get rippin on them, i hated it for the first few minutes but playing that game brought back old memories then i got hooked and got good at the controls my favorite iphone app by far *****'s

they are actually REALLY good i chose the same ones as the guy in the video exept i moved the shoot button just above the turn button so i dont even have to move my finger and can shoot and aim at the same time

and touch arcade-i recommend speeding up the game....just turn sensitivity up to 100%...ull move like 2-3 times faster

You can transfer files to the iphone easily with the AirSharing app, or via e-mail. There's nothing to it. Also, I have plenty of "DECENT" photos from my iphone. It's not going to replace a point-and-shoot with optical zoom, admittedly, but neither will a gameboy advance or a Nintendo DSi.

Whatever man, you don't want an iphone, don't buy one. I freakin love the thing.

You're missing something very important here. I'm not saying they should redo all the black and white movies to give them color, I'm not saying they should add CGI to Raiders of the Lost Ark. That would be changing the original. But this is a REPRODUCTION of the orignial. And as my personal opinion I say that reproductions should be 'up to date', otherwise there is little reason to reproduct something.

You're also missing something important. This is not a REPRODUCTION. This is a PORT of the original game.

People love to buy ports of old games. All current gen consoles are selling their old classic games on their online services, and people are buying them. It's the same as people switching from DVDs to VHS and rebuying all their old favorite movies. Developers rerelease old games on new consoles so people can keep playing them, so they don't have to keep them "up to date"

I wanted to get this at first, but somehow seeing it in action I'm reminded exactly why this game hasn't aged nearly as well as Doom.

Of course, the fiddly control system doesn't seem to be helping things. To be honest, I don't think first-person shooters really have a home on this format.

There are 3 different control options so you can choose what works best for you. It has the best control for FPS on iPhone so far.
