  • Beautiful piece!

  • Mmmm, I wish it JUST had the Heilig in it. I need it to practice. But when there are other pieces after it it makes it harder. ><

    Still magnificent though. :)

  • Thanks SuSuMiSi! Enjoying it.

  • On the Heilig, a lovely sound, but the quicker tempo diminishes the majesty the piece otherwise has.

  • @kenwanders Naa... plenty of majesty to draw from, regardless tempo. Too fast? Like there is one specific tempo out there everybody has to obey. Ridiculous idea.

  • @kenwanders Been years since I saw the score but yes, there often IS a specific tempo that conductors tend to obey (in a geenral sense) if they want to follow the composer's intentions. It's usually right there at the start of the piece. Don't remember what it is for "Heilig" though. This seems a bit too allegretto for my tastes though it is gorgeous all the same.

  • @kenwanders Listen to: NZSSC. Search : NZSSC Kyrie and Heilig :D. Its a choir that Im in and we're all secondary students from around NZ representing NZ and we sing Kyrie and Heilig. Hope you enjoy it :D

  • @kenwanders I completely agree

  • this choir is actually great but itz 2 fast GREAT JOB THO!!!

  • such a beautiful piece, however, i think it is much better and flows so much more beautifully slower. Love the sound
