Strange, I was thinking about her earlier this week and had a deep sense that she could not be with us really any longer. As I placed some food into my backroom cupboard, those were my thoughts and how wonderful of a mother she was to John and how I would not ever meet her because I certainly had waited too long. What a wonderful lady she was...brightly shining until the very end. She played her own important part in who John Denver was.
John Denver put his heart all in his singing, May God bless him & his music to always continue to be loved. Saddened about his mom ; she is now with her beloved son John Denver. ~Ava~
Yes- RIP Erma. She was a sweet lady who touched many. It is true you can send condolences to Windstar but I sent a message to the Legacy site. With all due respect to Ron, I just don't feel comfortable sending it to the Windstar site because there is the heavy emphasis on donating to Windstar- others may be comfortable with that which is fine- I personally am not. Again this is no disrespect to Ron or any other family or friends at this time- because they are in all our thoughts and prayers.
There were no longer any original Mitchell Trio members left in the group so they were no longer legally entitled to use that name, hence the new name of Denver, Boise and Johnson.

I edited this from a slightly longer clip that also had footage of Johnny Mathis. There is nothing to say where it came from.
