i got the latest 196.21 WHQL driver and it do the same on my 9800GTX....the first time it has done that to me i was thinking my card was burning but....nope....64C at full load :P
Yeah. I've only played version 1.0, but the latest versions might have some fixes for the bugs. I might replay the game, if I find time for it. Great atmosphere.

a bug is a mistake in the programming of the game. a glitch is a method of using any mistake, not just in the code, to make something good happen. e.g. a level glitch where you can jump out of the level, or a glitch to get infinate ammunition.
ya i got this glitch alot before the 1.001 patch. and you have to restart the entire game and reload at a point before the glitch. really got on my nerves.
I noticed that once while playing the game. I was using a 8800m GTX which is fairly recent so my guess is the problem is the game. I also notice other strange lighting effects too like a lot of characters seem to a flashlight laying at their feet (really weird) Also some bullets appear to travel through walls (I don't think they hit you thought)
I get this glitch 2, just not that often... strange enough... there are versions of FLOAT32 where this problem is completely solved ;) i believe it was the 1,6 versions
i have the same thing. I have a geforce 7800gs card. Maybe it's a geforce glitch. It does not always happen. When i restart my computer most of the time the glitch is gone.

As if the game doesn't scare you enough you get a group of random polygons flashing into existence to add to the add to the effect. I posted a video of a similar but less unnerving glitch.

@ all if you got GeForce turn off or deinstal the nVidia Physx..then the game will run normal ;)

I believe that's an issue with your graphics card, not the game. Try updating your driver(s).
I got this same glitch and when I took the above action, everything worked fine.
