Shift to a minor chord progression, overdrive and overcompress and cut the range of the vocals...is that the formula for remakes these days? I am apparently quite alone, but I feel this is a disappointment.
@coplaniuk Sometimes covers aren't as good as the original. But i do like this cover but on my video's you have the right to your own opinion i wont cut you down or rip you up like a ragdoll. @XdukySumX To be fair and for full disclosure...I am picky about covers and remakes. But not all originals are better than the remakes. "Heard it Through the Grapevine" redone by Marvin Gaye is better than the original (Gadys Knight). "Man Who Sold The World" - daresay I like Nirvana's version better than Bowie's (and I'm not even a fan of Nirvana).
I'd say this is my favourite version of the song. It has a real sinister tone to the synth. They play it at a Rock/Metal club I frequent.
