Before you lash out on me for the top comment ( I know its misleading), I have looked into evolution. Read the other comments , please. Evolution can explain how one organ formed form from another but please explain how the very first organ formed.
Just as you have base all of your belief on Evolution thinking it to be the reason you are on the planet. I have a belief that God is the reason we are on the planet. This does not mean that God did not use evolution as a way for his creation..
Which is really harder to believe, someone MAKING a near perfect, self repairing device of photo-reception or one just somehow "evolving" from something which came from something that randomly decided to be alive and make more alive thing which came out the water which happens to, of course, exist because a bunch of stuff floating in who-the-fuck-knows-where decides to go KABLOOEY one day.

Eyes didn't just "form", they evolved through several stages. The earliest forms were "eyespots", which were pigments that detected light. These were dispersed throughout the body of unicellular organisms. Different stages of evolution lead to different types of eyes in the species that exist today. Human eyes are not even the best.

Anyways, like anything else that evolves, eyespots occurred through random mutations. These mutations somehow enhanced survival, ie. predators avoided eating organisms with (scary looking) eyespots - so they multiplied. Mutations compounded and what you describe as "stages" occurred.

As to how they formed in "the most suitable place on our body", eyes are always on the head in everything from an insect to mammals, it's because of our development. Finally, our eyesight is not perfect, our eyes are actually very imperfect due to a blindspot in the retina, among other things. That's because it evolved.

Evolution doesnt just happen. There are certain circumstances when evolution doesnt take place usually because the environment's change was to drastic for the organism to keep up. There is no convincing you there is no God, if science came up with an answer tomorrow that stated the true reason of why we are in existence, you would still be stubborn and refuse to believe it and stick to your ways. Listen Im trying to find the truth here, it doesn't make sense to me that eyes were just a dot like figure on the face and evolved to become what they are now. I'm doing some research on it but coming up here and calling me stubborn like that is unjust..no?

Yes, that would make me stubborn. If there was solid proof that he existed without any ancient translated books I would believe. Just because I believe wouldn't mean that I would follow a tyrant, but I wouldn't deny his existence. Also the eyes weren't always so perfect. Looking at them the way they are now, sure you would think so. Saying they were the creation of an all powerful being and denying the science would make you a little stubborn, don't you say?

Evolution explains how it evolved into the state it is, but you will never know how evolution works, like how did the very first thing come into being that evolved. There are other aspects as well.

@criccraze786 This is the most insanely ill-informed comment I've witnessed on Youtube yet. Evolution is an extremely gradual process. The organs that your body contain today haven't always been so, they evolved in slowly progressive increments from an inferior existing prototype (for want of a better word) resulting in the complexity we now witness. If your God is so omnipotent and faultless, how does he explain the appendix. He can't (or rather, you can't).
I'll tell you what can: Evolution.

Have you ever thought of who is that is looking through those windows? It's not the brain, because the brain cannot think for itself. Without you, the soul, the entire body will not work. You must be inside of your given body to make it work. Like a hand in a glove. The same soul have emotions that other people can see through your eyes. But then how come that the light of an object im looking at from an angle always hits the macula of the retina...? I mean the light somehow has to be bent, but how? These crappy graphics always show the eyeball not rotated but pointing straight ahead...

No evolutionary scientists have ever successfully address the complexity of the eyes. Just look at all the videos about the evolution of eyes, they NEVER mentioned visual cortex, optic nerves, blinking mechanism, tears, muscles to roll eyes, eye lids to spread the tears. These should not be neglected because without this parts, the eyes will be damaged or dysfunctional.
