I THINK DANNY SHOULD HAVE WON WITH THIS SONG BECAUSE OUT OF EVERY SHOW IVE EVER WATCHED LIKE AMERICAN IDOL ,THE XFACTOR AND AMERICAS GOT TALENTS IVE NEVER CONNECTED TO A SONG IN SUCH A WAY AS THIS WHY? BECAUSE YOU CAN FEEL HIS PAIN IN HIS VOICE AS IF IT WAS MEANT FOR HIM AND WITH OUT THAT CONNECTION THERES NO SONG WHY? YOU WANT THE CROWD TO FEEL AS IF THEY FELT THE LOSS AS YOU OR IF ITS SUPPOSED TO BE HAPPY THAN THE SAME CONNECTION THATS WHAT MAKES A GOOD SINGER.THATS WHY THIS PROFORMENCE is # 1

i've just finish watching AI season 10 where scotty was crowned as a winner...but evrytime i watch American Idol it would remind me of danny gokey....seriously he's got a very beautiful voices...n yet this is tough the best performance i've ever seen in AI...from his big fan here in malaysia.....

This was my favorite performance by Danny Gokey...I wish he would have won American Idol instead of Kris Allen. His story is so sad as well, and this song brought me to tears and I had goosebumps on me. I think this was the best performance of the entire season!
