"Matrixing" is a term coined by the plumbers...so it seems you're aware of both their show and the concept correctly known as "pareidolia". But you're right, much of what one would hear comes from the talk radio...but when it's not and when it responds to specific questions, what do you call that? Thanks for watching!
The spirit box seems extremely vulnerable to false positives. (Brooke is mistaken, by the way; improper shielding or non-compliant transmitters can result in all sorts of devices picking each other up - think of the dryer messing with the TV.)
Has anyone tried putting EVP, electrometers etc inside Faraday cages, to block out absolutely all external signals? That way, the only signals you'd get would be from transmitters physically inside of the box - which seems like child's play for a spirit.

Scanning AM stations? Most those stations are "Talk Radio", so you hear voices? Really!! All the rest is just matrixing.
