don't need lyrics anymore. people who appreciate music can make the words up in their minds. I Love Bonobo, long may he make music as wonderfull as this
i love this so much, i'm glad to have some friends who are totally in bonobo too, we also listen alot explosions in the sky and massive attack and such, meaningfull and incredibly nice music. every of those songs got their own meaning for everyone.
@karlthunderaxe couldn't have put it better. I love the commercialization of music. It means that everyone could access all types of genres creating all sorts of whacky and imaginative music. Where would a lot of our favourite artists be now if they never heard finnish skwee or algerian folk
For those guys who says that no one understands this, feel privilegious, cause that means you are a fucking great person who knows how to taste the delightful sound of trip-hop. This is for a unique kind of people.
the voice sample in the beginning is Muhammad Ali, i heard it in an Adidas ad, really cool comercial. i guess it comes from a documentary, is here in youtube if you want to see
If everyone listened to this kind of music the radio would be awash with it and then i would get fed up with it and have to find another genre, looked what happened to hip hop and house music, yuk.
@whyohwhyohspellsyoyo But there is still good hip hop and good house music I still listen to - that is still amazing. There is a big difference between corporate trash and good music. This is not good music because it is obscure - this is good music because... it's good music.
Good hip hop, what like the fun stuff of the early 80's, everyone to thier own opinion but i can't see it. I didn't say it was good because it was obscure, i just don't want to get fed up with listening to it, which would happen if it was on the radio constantly.
i could not agree more with you two. i was always into hip hop and metal but now i cant stop listening to bands like bonobo, quantic, nightmares on wax etc.
i think its "cant get myslef, im dancin!, I'm dancin!" and insane track. its like letting go of your worries, and you just feel like openin a cold one, and chilin...
@807D14M0ND5 i agree with what you and coldestfrost said but it dont mean there music is meaningless you found your meaning here they found theres elsewhere just really dump when they dont try to look at it from a different view
@807D14M0ND5 i agree with what you and coldestfrost said but it dont mean there music is meaningless you found your meaning here they found theres elsewhere just really dumb when they dont try to look at it from a different view
@807D14M0ND5 YEAH BUT IN some cases....its good to escape into meaningless things...because in the end that time you spent has taught you something, whether we like it. or not
@807D14M0ND5 No, that's not really it, if aggressive music makes you pumped and "meaningless" music makes you dance crazy what's wrong with that? Can't you appreciate how different types of music affect a person's mood?
i used to listin to hip hop but bonobo and other artist made addicted to this type of music now all peopl iknow be like what the hell are listinin but i dont care wht they say this music make me feel good and happy no matter whats happenin around me
Your so right.. Everybody is a hearer, not a listener these days.. But fack em mate! We can do without ;D Also this music, contrary to hiphop, never lies.. You can´t lie or say stupid things in instrumentals :D
@coldestfrostx4 ok, first of all, you must realize that this right here is still hip hop... all this genres like trip-hop, downtempo, dubstep, etc, are all hip hop descendants and they still keep and maintan the essence of it in them, this type of music, was once considered instrumental or abstract hip hop, like back in the 90s when there wasnt such a mess and confusion about genres, listen to the first dj krush albums, they were considered hiphop back then, instrumental-electronic hip hop.
@coldestfrostx4 so please tell your friends to get their headz off their asses... tell them to do some research and get schooled on music, and get off that "goon" shitty rap thats all over the us radio these days.

a lot of people are saying trip-hop, and that's one way to categorize it. another would be downtempo or ambient hip-hop.
