The '99 novas are the best nova bus models the always have clothed padded seats and flipdot LED signs that light pure green in the dark. unlike the '97 and the '96 novas that have a grennish yellow color when in he dark. plus they use small dot graghics in stead of ugluy tetries blocks. anyway some '99 novas owned by the flatbush dtp were installed with luminatoir horizion orange Led signs. which are just as cool as the pure green flipdot LED signs!

i remember back in 2003, when i was still NYC, that those 5000 series had messed up(not numbers but the whole thing) LCD signs in the back.

Alot of the Novas that have Twin Vision Destination Signs get stuck on a route in the back alot.....it pretty much changes when it wants to

I wish MTA bus company had the high power nova buses! I live in FarRockaway Queens and Green bus lines use to run out here until MTA took ova now all we have is hybrid. Only time MTA NYC transit buses run out here is when there doin track work on the A line and the buses replace the trains
