i was wondering how the textin is like..do the conversations save like the Iphone..or jsut liek regular text messages..

i have this phone and i flashed it to cricket but not a full flash...

i also have a question...

can this phone get a virus of any type becouse my phone has been going crazy!

first it activates the voice recognition then it goes to my missed calles and then it goes to then camera then turns off the phone(like to call not shut down)

my friend also wiped everything off it and it was still there!

can anybody help?

MOST Verizon phones that are PDAs require the 30 dollar extra per month for internet BUT this phone does not. I have it and do not pay the 30 dollars. the good news is that this phone has wi-fi so you can connect to the net FOR FREE if you are somewhere with wifi like your house, school, etc.

you dont need internet for it. in 11/2008 verizon required ALL PDA PHONES to require a data plan, luckily the i 730 (not sure about i760) was created before 11/2008 so you can get a data block and it IS a texting and calling phone as well.

i honestly dont use the touch screen. u dont hav to. i just found that if u flip out the keyboard then u can access every function without the touch screen. if u flip it the other way... then u hav to use the touch screen very little, and it doesnt require the stylus. so u barely need the touch screen or stylus. period.

im getting an i760. soooo much better. it works with your fingers, stylus is of course better.

verizon does not use SIM cards, so no.

when u open up ur browser, or aniother program tries to access the internet, if you are not using wifi, it will show a pop up saying its dialing in to #777 which is the vzw network. u can very easily click cancel so u do not get charged, if u do not have data plan.

alternately at :42 it shows a wireless manager, you can shut off your "phone" capabilities and just enable "wifi", if ur that worried about getting charged. this is common amongst wifi enabled devices running windows mobile

Yes, just ask Verizon how to disable the data connection. You might lose picture messaging if you do this.

There are alot. windows mobile comes standard with quite a few including a neat sliding panel look. What I recomend is installing a free app called "Point UI" If you google for it you'll find it. Point UI is a nice looking finger friendly UI.

There are also many other third party home screens that are redially available and free to install.

I noticed that even know i close a program on the i760 it still shows it is runnning in the background under the system tab why?? Should this be? I also noticed that the phone only rings only 4 times before it shuts the person to voicemail. There end they hear it ringing 6 times.

Yes it is possible, but the recipient's device must be able to play videos.
