The guy who commented that this is not about immigration is correct, Bruce played this at Dannys funeral. It has a much deeper meaning. To me it is meeting your loved ones after you pass. It is about endless complete undying love.
I am sure those that work at Burger King are proud of it as well . Your statement is so ignorant that it does not earn a response. With your lack of education you probably want the USA to take in every poor person from around the world. Our country would fold over night. But that is what they are teaching in the public scchools these days. How bad a county the USA is. Thats ok, I will continue to pay for your education and welfare check..and you keep voting for those that take care of you
You still don't answer to my argument...and you never gave a cent for my education i don't live in USA and never did ;-) problems are global now don't stay close minded, peace man, have a good day
You would not understand my answer. I am sure they did not like it, but that was hundreds of years ago under different conditions. Now slobs like you keep trying to come into this country and take take take when we give give give to countries like yours that need us yet can't get things together. It is global and I don't like having to pay for your sorry excuse when you have failed and want me to pay for it. Peace through strength. Please stop wasting my time with your ignorance
That's all the arguments you got ? i totally agree with you it's a waste of time to speak with you, all you got is insults. you never gave me anything and you never will moron, stay and die in the country you stole to the native indians.

My friend it was also well educated people that came here legally to start a new life. Yes poor people came....if legal, great!!! Either way everyone has to pay their own. You are not entitled to anything. Pay your own way and don't have the government take from those that are working to pay for those that are not. Sad you were raised to have some one else take care of you.
yes even some of of your great presidents are descendants of irish people who left here because of the famine. people who had only the clothes on their backs. i think we should ALL apologise to the american natives for the way we persecuted them.
LOL Is that the best you can do? I had no idea I could get under your skin so easily. I feel sorry for you that you get so offended. Don't feel bad that someone egged you on and you fell for it.....that says a lot about you. Please have the last word....I know you need to. We will continue to protect your little Island. I just bet a friend you would respond.......I won't read nor respond....but don't let me down little one!! This was too easy.
Beautiful, my favorite song of Bruce (and there are a lot), the lyrics are very touching too, we have almost all, all around the world, forefathers who had to cross a Border or an Ocean, to find happiness or just survival...I like the way Bruce succeed to write some songs who touch the core of Mankind
Stunning, Incredible, Brilliant, Beautiful, Touching,Bruce a musical genious at work. The body of work this guy has put together over a 40 year career is astounding. What a career.
This is an increibly touching song. As a latino who has known many people who've crossed the border looking for a better life for themselves and their children, I truly admire Springsteen for putting out a song like this.
Such a great and profound song, makes me apreciate more the life I have, how blessed I am to live in my own contry with all my familly and friends arownd me,they are all to me!
I've always thought this a perfect bookend to Woody Guthrie's "Deportee" song. The video is perfect for the words...which are, as always, heartfelt and crafted diamond sharp.
Oh my goodness. One of my fav Bruce songs. Touches me personally as my parents escaped poverty in South America to build a better life for their family. I am glad the video didn't just center on the Mexican situation but was made universal to apply to a lot of cultures that are poor and just want a better life. Very moving.

One of my favourite song of Springsteen, most of us are descendant of migrants, even those who are against immigration...

Against illegal immigration is 100% different from being against legal immigration.

Maybe but we should ask the native indians if they thought the european immigration was legal...

Ya know, I'm an adult, and I rarely say anything negative here, or anywhere, but you, sir, are an asshole of uncommon proportions.
Congratulations.
People usually become so small when they have accomplished nothing.
What have you accomplished? Am I correct? Is the answer, "nothing."
