  • Frances Langford was my dad's 2nd cousin. He saw her perform in Hawaii during WWII, but

never knew her. My granddad, however, visited her and her dad before she was famous.

She was such a delightful actress, singer and USO entertainer.

  • Along with Bob Hope, Miss Frances Langford entertained a lof of troops during World War II.

  • I fell in love with Frances Langford singing this song. After all these years the feeling remains the same.

  • Far out.

  • Far out

  • Could you possibly put up Frances in Born to Dance at the Finale when she's singing Swingin' The Jinx Away?

  • ?????????????????????????????

  • I was replying to a "bogus" post, which has now thankfully been deleted.

  • Don't bother - it will give your PC a Virus!!!!

  • Wonderful Frances Langford. Her facial expressions enhance her singing.

  • How good to SEE Frances L. at last - having enjoyed her performances for so long on record. Thank you!!

I recorded this song and others someday in the 1980's from tv and listened to them probably a couple hundred times. Apart from that I got that song on a shellack record from about 1937.
