I played in a deathmetal/grindcore band in the early 90's and I remember quite often someone from the crowd would come up to me and apologize for not slamming or pitting because they were actually WATCHING us perform! I always told them how that meant more to me because it meant they were impressed enough to absorb the performance instead of going off in their own little world. In other words, I'm the kind of person who would go to a PROP show and STUDY everything they did! A musician!!
