  • I have a question how do I adjust sensitivity? I nneed help. I have BAD vision, so I have to get up t the screen about an inch and ahalf, and there fore my hair touches it, or I accidentally touch it with my nose, and the thing is, I get about a half of an inch away, and dont touch it and it activates. I need to adjust sensitivity.

  • @ventilator98 As far as I know, there is no way to adjust the sensitivity. The screen uses optical sensors in the corner of the screen, think of them as little cameras. When an object like your finger, nose, or hair cross the field of vision of these sensors, it activates the mouse on the touchscreen. Do you use glasses? Perhaps a higher prescription is needed so you don't have to get so close? Another option would be to decrease the resolution of your OS, to 1280x720 or even smaller.

  • @rock99rock I am legally blind. The hioghest powered glasses wouldn't do anything for me. I have been legally blind sence birth. I can see light and dark, and colors, and if I'm up to something and the print is REAL BIG, I can see print from about from an inch and ahalf to 2 or 3 inches. glasses don't do a thing.

  • @ventilator98 Wow! In that case, increase the DPI settings (are you using windows 7?) to increase font sizes, and see if you can decrease the resolution of the screen. There is no way to adjust the sensitivity of the touch sensors unfortunately. If it ends up being too much of an issue, you might want to look at a resistive or a capacitive touchscreen.

  • @rock99rock Yes, I use Windows 7, and yeah you are right. I just increased the font, and THIS HELPED A LOT. Thank you. Your video is wonderful. :) I looooooooooooooove my touch screen. hehehehehehehehehehe.

  • @ventilator98 Fantastic! I'm glad I could help out. Being in IT, I rarely get "thanks" and compliments like yours. Thanks for making my day!

  • Yeah. Its a Defective unit. I would replace it. I hope you got things sourted out, and it all worked out for the Best. I really do. I got mine today, AND I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it.

  • @ventilator98 Yea, it was a long process with cheetahdeals, but they eventually refunded the money. I picked up a new unit at frys and everything works great now. Have it setup in the kitchen on a ergotron 6 axis arm for recipes and slingbox viewing. It is awesome :D
