They are ALL originally from Moldava (Moldavia). They moved to Romania in 2002 once the band was formed! Although this "English Version" was also performed by O-Zone, It is NOT an exact translation from the "Romanian Version." Not even close!!! They wrote these words for the "English Version" because they fit the tune properly! The ACTUALl translation does not fit the tune & rhythm of this particular song! The phrase "Dragostea Din Tei actually loosely translates to "Love From the Linden Trees"
