The US did allow many, many Hmong to come here as return for helping. Complete betrayal would be to not have let any Hmong enter the US. So there is then a 'degree' of broken promises but that is ONLY because things are complicated in this world.

Kong, I have been your friend for so long and we have gone through so many projects all in hopes of progress. I truly applaud you for this documentary and what you have in store for the future! I support you in all your endeavors. You inspire me every time I talk to you and feel burned out. Never lose this energy and your eccentric personality will lead us to uncharted grounds!

Like i said, this documentary was not to embarass or make a person look a certain way. I think we all need to understand the fact and be mature about this. Why subject. This is a lesson to be learned. Please do not leave negative comments about people in this video.

We all are guilty about not knowing something about our own past/culture. Lets all have respect for each other and not make this such a big deal. In my documentary, i wanted to portray the views from different people. Why post up dumb and negative comments about others. We all need to work on the way we view others. Let's all think positive.

Its ok...there are many Hmongs around the world who still does not know anything about their background. That is one of the main reasons why i decided to make this documentary. Let's all please respect everyone. We will all learn..together if that is the case. This documentary was not made to make someone look bad. With all respect...
