  • Ouin, c'est un rêve pour notre escadron 761. Déjà, on aurait a peine un excédant de 10 cadets si on voudrait faire comme vous. Chapeau!

  • As a WO1, I have one thing to say.... Absolutely AMAZING! GREAT JOB!

  • Nice work

  • Good Squad Drill, however, your Squad Commander has very poor power of command.

    Petty Officer Cadet Reid

    United Kingdom Sea Cadet Corps

    SWA Parade Staff

  • Greetings from the No. 9 (Whanganui) Squadron, New Zealand ATC. This drill is very impressive. We have Davy Drill here, which is similar. Do you have a national ATC competition? We do at RNZAF Ohakea. Anyway, Good luck and do well!

    -W/O T KILPATRICK,

    NO9 SQN; NZATC

  • wow, your drill is so strange compared to ours! :o :L i'm in the uk air cadets, but wow! it looks more fun than ours tbh. especially that run thing at like 7 minutes? :s it looks quite fun :L

  • there was a little but of command anticipation....but amazing job!

  • awww ya thats right REPRESENT WHOOOO!!

  • Next time try not to Cow Kick. For my Squadron there is a drill comp tomorrow.

  • i love how the pause then bring the foot down.

  • very nice

    1) for my drill comps the DTC actually does all of the movements with the flight

    2) it looked like the people on the outside weren't swinging their inside arms as much as their outside ones.

    3) your change step seemed a little long.

but still, one of the best squadrons I have seen.

  • our squadron is getting pretty close to that, but our compulsory routine kicks ass!

  • Why are they donkey kicking?

  • @wikigeek Its called cow kicking, and we are not cow kicking

  • @MrSuperjaniter the right marker did at 0:16

  • @MrSuperjaniter, in England it's known as "donkey kicking"

  • Nice dressing. Going to be in my favorite as an exemple if I need one! Really nice overall

  • hey isn't 180 mosquito Sqn in toronto ?

  • canadian atc drill is much diferent n much more complicated then english atc drill

  • @lewiscm00

i kno english drill is way much simpiler than this theres no way i could pull this off.

  • @MrISniiPE the British Air training corp is much better than the royal Canadian Air cadets, this coming from a royal Canadian army cadet. You guys get to fly in real planes at high altitudes, because of this retarded thing called the Canadian charter of rights and freedoms, Royal Canadian Army Cadets are lucky to even get into a real plane, usually they fly gliders. The only way that cadets nowadays can stay close to the Canadian forces is through drill, so we practice until it is perfect.

  • Jaw Drops....I'm showing this to my Drill Team (I'm the D.T.C.). That Drill is AWESOME!

  • u guys have NEARLY PERFECT drill! good job =DDD

  • Nice job cadets, work harder

  • Marching arms should be breast pocket high and it sounds like they are wearing tap shoes make so much noise. omg there is so much cow kicking it is unbelievable i wounder if they got points deducted for that. other than that there cadence is beautiful i have to say that and im a army cadet there dressing is awsome they are always in line i guess thats what you get for winning

  • A very good display, with few errors.

Cow kicking was a major reoccurring issue however.

Waist high arm swinging for a drill comp? Breast Pocket is the Basic standard, and looks sharp for a competition level event.

Shoot the foot, drive the body.

  • breast pocket high hmmm.. why dont you go look at your uniform and see where your breast pocket is... not on your tunic but on your green shirt.... or blue shirt. what they are doing is in the drill manual it is the proper way of marching. no where in the drill manual does it say your arms are to be shoulder high.

  • You sir, are incorrect.

Double check the 201 Drill manual.

Breast pocket high is the basic standard, and is encouraged to promote agility. A commanding officer can make exceptions.

For a competition, the basic standard is usually followed, as all units competing can follow the same trained (and written) standard.

  • @grimmyman1 You need to check ur information, cuz the standard is waist pocket high.

  • @MrSuperjaniter Yes and no, The diagram show fist to belt level, but page 3-7 paragraph 14 says "During basic training, recruits shall be

directed to swing arms breast-pocket high in order to

build agility. Commanding officers may continue this

    direction at their discretion."

  • @MrSuperjaniter Again, please double check your 201 and refer to that. It specifically states to promote agility.

  • crazy

  • Wow, amazing drill team.

  • That was amazing, a great amount of effort and perfection in the whole drill sequence.

  • I was WO1 of a fantastic squadron who slept, ate, and breathed drill. bang up job ! pardon the pun !

  • Everybody is saying how wonderful this is. And yes, I fully agree. However, I'm proud to say that it does NOT make my squadron look like shit. Only slightly worse.

  • the one handed replace headdress...is definitely missed... XD

sharp and snappy as always. gj guys!

  • Whats gj?

  • Dude, my old sqn is below dirt compared to these people...its a good thing we live in different provinces....we would never have to face off against them...however, one of those left turns, the right marker has trouble with the step. He shuffles to get back in...

  • DONKEY KICKS!

    lol. :) sorry.

  • This is adressed to tgreek7: i dont feel that the hand movement after the head dress was bad because, eventhough it may not be stated in the CF 201, it left a better impression than thoose other sqn. with all their mistakes that were definatly not stated in the CF 201.

    BTW Great job as always!

  • OMG PETER ZHANG!!! HE WAS MY FSGT AT SLC!!!! Woot Hornet flight!

  • damn this makes 101 look like totall shit...lol, looks like i have to try wayyyy harder

  • nice.. but always room for improvement.. when these kids were recruits i was a W01. My squadron drill team was number 1 in ontario for 2 years in a row when i was the commander.

  • who are you?

and what squadron where you WO1 of and what year was this?

  • very good

makes me want to try harder in my drill team

  • OMG! You're so good that is scary!

  • Well turned out. While I appreciate the unity while standing easy after removing head dress, it does not follow the hallmark of efficiency stated in the CF 201. Simply snapping the arms to the sides would have left a better impression.

  • Absolutely brilliant! Excellant work Cadets! Just Excellant!

  • wow. their at my sqd, hmcs york

  • Do you guys know the full results yet?

  • omg ! XD i was at 180 drill comp. lmfao.

:O I SEE MYSELF IN THE BEGINNING ON THE BALCONY!
