Dave Vonner was an employee of Toy Biz at the time at War Machine figure was made. Several of the Toy Biz team have their likeness on toys. Phil Ramirez is the ML Gambit. Jesse and Damon were both in the Lord of the Rings line. And ML Mystique was an old girlfriend of Jesse's. Dave V now works for the Hasbro Marvel team.
