From the first time I saw Shealeigh on the Cree Idol search at @10 years old, smiling in her audition video saying "Hello-I'm Shealeigh" I knew she had "It"- that hard to describe array of gifts/talent and abilities that would send her to a bright musical future. Desire and dedication, along with support from her family and local music community accelerated the blooming of a career. No matter the outcome of this Disney contest, Shealeigh is and always will be a bright star in my world.

@Splungers awhh!! i love to hear about ppl I've never heard of watching Idol Search! thank u sooo much!! shea was a sneaker in the contest.. once the TOP 10 hit though.. she tore the roof off those rounds one by one! she definitely stood out that season being so young and so talented to the point you just couldnt belive such a voice would come out of a child so young! this is definitley the start of even bigger and better things for her! :))

@Splungers Well thank u so much for saying that. I like to believe the singers that come out of my competition have received a lot of good training & know how. We like to call Idol Search "Idol Boot Camp". It's not an easy competition to win, but Shea did it!! Even the singers than don't win get a crash course in what it would be like to be active in the music business. Some leave with their tails tucked between their legs, & some soar even farther. Shea has her wings spread and is flying high!
