I understand what you are saying about the USB port, but man, That Tyros is a nice keyboard , but way over my head , Thats why I'm keeping my eye on the S550 Keeping an eye on Ebay for a used one, The E403 is a good start but does have it's drawbacks for my purposes. I don't like the idea of it's own format. wish it had an upload to the computer in Midi format , oh well , Chuck
@caskigm I think the S550 has the mixer feature like the S900. It's so flexible. You can alter the balance and volume levels and the individual parts to the style, swap over instruments used on a style, alter the balance, volume, instruments on the midi channels, create a midi file of a user recorded song without needing 3rd party software to transfer the midi data over. I think it even has the notation display, so you can see the score on any midi channel.
@caskigm Hi. Hope you are well. Used S900's are selling here in the UK on Ebay between £600 and £700. I would have gone for a Tyros 1 (around same price as S900), however there is no USB to device socket on them which is something I needed
Have you ever downloaded Styles from Yamaha Corp. Was going through there files and just wondered if they were worth downloading . Chuck

@caskigm Chuck, There have been a few used S-700's on ebay lately, going for less than a new S550.
I got a used S700 last fall for $599.00 cdn - It's far superior to the s550
