  • is it safe........?

  • i oc'd my hd e2180 to 2.60 ghz with set fsb without any probs.so i know its an awesome overclocker.but i have this stupid oem mobo.if this processor was on a good mobo i think it could easily do 4 ghz

  • how do you get all those options? when im try to overclock i cant change the mhz or other things i use windows 7

  • im tryingto update my motherboard but idont know where the usb port is

  • i cant wait to overclock my E2180 man...i will buy a new CPU cooler

  • How do i access this page? IT seem my Bios doesn't have this option.

  • hi, i have the same board, but my processor is a core 2 duo E6750.

please help Rick im a noob lol

  • I know that I probably won't be changing it anyway, but Im a little curious as to why it doesn't appear.

  • Do you have it set to auto in another page or have speedstep enabled not even sure that would cause it?

  • As far as I see there is no other place that it could be set to auto. I don't see the Speedstep either, I have never updated the bios, so that could be the problem, I'll try doing that and see if it works.

  • I have the same MB, and have read up a lot about overclocking, but when I go into the BIOS, and set Ai Overclocking to manual, the CPU Ratio Control Option is no where to be found. Do you have any idea whats wrong?

Processor is a P4 631 Cedar Mill 3.00 ghz if it matters.

  • What BIOS do you have? the version I mean not sure why it wouldn't show up?

  • what cpu cooler are you using?

  • TT Big Typhoon with 107cfm fan got a TRUE120 Black fully lapped now with dual fans. Moved on from the E2180 it spends its days in my GFs rig which was built by me of coarse.

  • Excelente ,Lo acabo de probar en mi p5k/epu y funciona de maravilla , Duorb + 8800 gt + e2180 + termarthake 600w

  • wow great. my motherboard is not supported of overclocking. is there a software to overclock my processor?

  • Rick i'm gonna buy that CPU in a few weeks, so i can just OC it, and let me tell ya, it aint gonna leave my board before it burns :P

    What's the multi?

  • isnt 1T better than 2T for overclocking

  • Yes but very unstable unless running at factory speeds/specs and it was meant to run at 1T like some Dominators.

  • 1T gives a ~1% performance gain and can create instability. You're better off running at 2T an increasing clocks.

  • The max stable I got was 3.85GHz on water but run at 3.4GHz 24/7 @ 24-25C idle and 39-42C load.

  • Nice water is next along with 3.5ghz I hope.

    Stay tuned.

  • what was the app you were checking the cpu setting with once you booted up you os?

  • I use CPU-Z or everest ultimate is great as well.

  • nice OC and and nice background :P

  • Which cooler do you use for Processor...

    Is it stock or not....

  • I have and have tested a stock retail cooler, a Aerocool X-FIRE 120MM, and a Thermaltake Big Typhoon 120mm 6 heatpipe. Lapping the BT and have lapped the X-FIRE but did not really help it is too small.

  • STFU = Shut The F@@@ Up! i am assuming he is on your side. lol

  • Was it absolutely stock 2.0,or you've clocked it before that?

  • Stock clocks are 2000mhz and the highest so far is 2960 boot and fully stable is 2800.

  • STFU Ahole

  • What is STFU mean are you on my side or not?
