I was just listening to this song (not for the first time, mind you) and I started just feeling like I was entering a zen-like dreamy state. And it was one of the weirdest, best emotions I have ever felt in my life. I'm not sure why this song brought it on, but I feel like it's something I should share. I ADORE this song. I'm glad my sisters and my parents are older than the average 16-year-old's, I got to grow up with good music because of them.

@Toxicanty my situation is similar to yours, since i was born in 93 and also grew up hearing all kinds of awesome bands like RHCP. i also didn't know they were the ones that sang many of the songs i knew and heard such as californication, but thanks to my mother and her awesome taste in music, i listen to and know lots of old school bands that rocked, and others like RHCP that are still alive even today.
