1. Do I need a finisher for canvas shoes if I use Angelus Water resistant paint?

2. Could I use Sharpie Poster Paint or Liquitex for outlining the art on canvas shoes?

you have some great tips on you. Unfortunately Acetone is very expensive in Dublin here so I skipped that part and just cleaned it before applying white Angelus paint onto my high heels before adding red paint the effect was very good, but because I didn't deglaze whatever finish/wax was on the heels originally, i find that if the shoes are scruffed, the paint would scratch off just a little. I customise shoes, so next time I am definetly adding Acetone to my list of stuff to get for shoes!! :)

@bloodyswagg A finisher is not necessary, but Angelus makes one. It is just a clear-coat to prevent scratches.
