The Benetton is Patrese. On databases I can see that in the 1993 Canadian GP, crossing the line at the end of the 1st lap was Senna 4th, Alesi 5th, Patrese 6th, Schumacher 7th and Brundle 8th. This means that Schumacher, currently 8th in this video, will pass Brundle ( the blue car in front of the 2nd Benetton at 0:22 ) by the end of the lap. Note also that at the end of the next lap Senna passed Berger for 3rd and Schu passed Patrese for 6th. Four laps later, Schu passed both Alesi and Berger!

I mean, Mclaren in that race had a great car, with new traction controls, while Schumacher had not that. So good the Mclaren was, that even a not special good driver as Andretti, in his first race in wet in F1 and in one of the first ones of his life in wet was able to be so fast. Mclaren was great that day.

for example, here senna overtakes 3 cars in 2 laps since 1st bend... Schumacher in the same time overtakes 6 cars, and he finished 2nd after williams renault of Prost.

Sicuramente ayrton e michael sono stati due gran campioni, io però devo ammettere di essere (anche tutt'ora) tifosissimo di senna. Il fatto è che altrochè se non ha avuto rivali ayrton, basta pensare che quando correva c'erano piquet (3 mondiali),prost (4 mondiali), mansell (1 titolo), è proprio schumi che il più forte che ha avuto è stato hakkinen, poi molto dopo alonso, considerando poi che dal 2000 al 2004 la ferrari era imbattibile .

Non comprendo perchè tiri in ballo Schumacher continuamente, anche Schumacher non lesinò scorrettezze gravissime quando si trovò in difficoltà. Cmq la squalifica fu di 2 gare (Monza ed Estoril) per non aver rispettato la bandiera nera di Silverstone (la squalifica fu inflitta tardivamente a causa dell'appello della Benetton) mentre a SPA gli fu tolto il risultato perchè a fine gara il fondo vettura presentò un consumo anomalo oltre il regolamento.

In this season (1993) Schumacher was running with a Benneton that had a Ford Engine 70HP more powerfull than Sennas Mclaren-FordHB.
Even with that kind of disavantage he managed to top Schumacher in points.

Senna overtakes PAtrese in the beginning, not Schumacher.
In fact, Senna overtakes 3 cars after the first bend in 2 laps. But Schumacher is amazing overtaking 6 cars in the same time!
At the end of the race, Schumacher finally was at the rear of Senna and was able to overtake Ayrton in the moment Senna retired

Senna then pulled away but slowed down later for 2 laps before stopping with with electircal problems

I don't get it. I watch F1 since '70(when it came to Brazil) and i don't think Senna is the best, i saw better racing. But... SCHUMACHER? what the hell? Schumacher wouldn't even fit in my top 20.

O Ayrton era persistente dimais, pra ele não tinha ruim. Fiquei lendo os papos dos italianos antes e eles ficaram falando sobre como a McLaren era rápida comparada com a Ferrari da época. Os outros em inglês também escreveram algo do tipo. Cara, naquela época a McLaren era uma bosta! Comparem os vídeos onboard do Ayrton e dos outros da mesma época e me digam se a camera deles treme tanto quanto a do Senna. A Honda fazia milagre com aqueles motores V12.

benetton also had that "decaying" wooden bottom of the car that depleted as it was in friction with the ground to give extra "solo" effect (illegal).
hate benetton for that, they made williams try to max out the car against cheating, killing Senna.

of course Senna was supperb, but if you see Donninton 93, you will see Michael Andretti, with Mclaren, overtaking Michael Schumacher! I mean, Mclaren in that race had a great car, with new traction controls, while Schumacher had not that. So good the Mclaren was, that even a not special good driver as Andretti, in his first race in wet in F1 and in one of the first ones of his life in wet was able to be so fast. Mclaren was great that day.

Senna e Schumacher sono stati 2 grandissi piloti del passato :uno 7 volte iridato l'altro mago della Pole e del bagnato. Il migliore secondo me è stato Schumacher perchè è riuscito a tirare su una Ferrari distrastrosa mentre Senna ha avuto la Mclaren nettamente più forte delle altre e secondo Senna poteva vincere 4 titoli ma in diverse circostanze è stato molto sprecone

annullato dalla concorrenza a parità di mezzo da parte del compagno di team.

questo è innegabile indigoblue555 che Senna avesse un compagno veloce e astuto come Prost ma la Mclaren era talmente veloce che lui combatte va solo con Prost mentre Msc ha dovuto combattere con più avversari conteporaneamente certamente non erano proprio all' altezza di Prost.....

Sicuramente ayrton e michael sono stati due gran campioni, io però devo ammettere di essere (anche tutt'ora) tifosissimo di senna. Il fatto è che altrochè se non ha avuto rivali ayrton, basta pensare che quando correva c'erano piquet (3 mondiali),prost (4 mondiali), mansell (1 titolo), è proprio schumi che il più forte che ha avuto è stato hakkinen, poi molto dopo alonso, considerando poi che dal 2000 al 2004 la ferrari era imbattibile .

Condivido quello che hai detto. Senza nulla togliere a Schumacher ma in Ferrari c'era un certo Brawn ed inoltre anche Irvine perse un mondiale a causa di una ruota dimenticata al pit stop.
In quegli anni la Ferrari era di un altro livello.
Quello che il mondo ha visto fare a Senna sul bagnato, non si è mai visto.
Fa piacere il ritorno di Schumacher, resta un campionissimo.

Vero, Schumacher, se non vinceva, tentava di eliminare fisicamente l'avversario (vedi Adelaide 94 e Jerez 97), ma Senna, pur essendo un fenomeno, non era certo da meno (Suzuka 90 vi dice niente?). Per quanto riguarda Monaco 1984, vorrei ricordare che se la gara non fosse stata sospesa e Prost fosse arrivato secondo (quindi superato da Senna), avrebbe preso giusto quei due punti in più con cui avrebbe vinto il mondiale a scapito di Lauda, quindi non si gridi tanto allo scandalo.

Nel 94 la Williams pati il bando delle sospensioni attive ma dopo qualche gara tornò ad essere la vettura n1, nel 97 la Williams era superiore in tutto alla Ferrari, solo che la Ferrari aveva Schumacher, la Williams Villeneuve... il campione del mondo più casuale e fortuito della storia della F1.

Non comprendo perchè tiri in ballo Schumacher continuamente, anche Schumacher non lesinò scorrettezze gravissime quando si trovò in difficoltà. Cmq la squalifica fu di 2 gare (Monza ed Estoril) per non aver rispettato la bandiera nera di Silverstone (la squalifica fu inflitta tardivamente a causa dell'appello della Benetton) mentre a SPA gli fu tolto il risultato perchè a fine gara il fondo vettura presentò un consumo anomalo oltre il regolamento.
