Angie, my prayer for you and for anyone reading these posts is that you all will turn to Jesus Christ. If you don't believe in Him and you sincerely want to know the truth, just ask Him and He will show you truth. Read the Bible and just see what it has to say. God bless you all! :)
We all have a choice, we can either accept Jesus as God or we can reject Him. One thing that is for certain for all of us is that we are going to die and Angie if you are wrong I would not want to be in your shoes for anything. The poet Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason for evil, of pain and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people.
You mentioned why doesn't God do away with all sickness, pain and little children hurting. Well, He is going to do that but in His time. One day all of that will be gone forever. I have not always lived for Jesus. I would not want to go back to the life I had before Jesus for anything. God has given me everything that I was searching for. It amazes me how much you talk about a God that you don't even believe exists.
You mentioned that why doesn't God come to earth and show Himself to us, He did almost two thousand years ago. You know this, Jesus came and only did good because that is what God is He is good. He is love. He was spat upon and rejected and He allowed them to hang Him on the cross. He allowed this Angie because He loves you. God's desire for you is for you to live with Him in heaven forever. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past. He loves you just as you are.
God wants to bless the people that He created but if those people are in rebellion to Him how can He do that? Everything in this world that is bad or hurtful is in this world because of man's disobedience to God (sin). Anyone who talks mean or hateful to you because of what you believe is not doing what God would have them do. God is the one who has made the rules. His rule says that if a person rejects Him as God they can not live with Him after they die.
Hi Angie, I came across your video and decided to respond. I'm not going to tell you the plan of salvation because it seems to me that you know it all pretty well. The heavens declare the glory of God. All any of us have to do is look at our world and if we are honest with ourselves we know that it just could not have happened. God is real, Jesus is real and one day all of us will stand before Jesus Christ and He will judge us based upon whether we have bowed our knee to Him.
@AngieAntiTheist, you're a bitch. Whats the point in making these videos. You're only encouraging the behavior which you are constantly hating on. Whats your true argument? I find your "explanations" useless and ridiculous. Dont like what others say? GROW A BRAIN AND IGNORE! Just like you say Christians are always annoying you, your doing essentially the same thing! You must have an extremely low self esteem if you let what other asshole say affect you. EVERYONES ENTITLED TO THEIR OWN OPINIONS!
@Hotcinnamon1112 well i am sure there was a first guy named adam, but the atom you are talking abotu was mor then likely named soemthing like oooh-ee-ee-ee-ah-ah-aha or some other monkey sounding sound.
Here's how you fail. You say you believe there is no god. Think logically. Explain existence without any supernatural force. I'm not promoting one god over the other. I'm not trying to convert you. But I know there is no such thing as a true atheist, they are all either religious and angry or simple agnostic like me and you who say "You know what, I don't know, and I won't make a claim either way." I mean it can go 1 of a million ways, y commit?! Religion is a plague, but stay open minded
@joebobahead You can say "explain life without supernatural forces" Okay, we don't have all the answers. But saying that a supernatural created life is even more retarded.
@joebobahead Saying I dont know is fine because fuck it we dont. However there is a good chance science will figure it out as it has done many things in the past. An atheist is someone who doesnt hold a believe in a god hence Im an atheist and hence you are an idiot.
STUDY NEAR DEATHS EXPERIENES MAYBE YOU NEED TO RETHINK YOUR LIFE STUDY STUDY STUDY READ READ READ THE BIBLE EVEN SAYS TO STUDY FOR ALL OF YOU PEOPLE DONT GAMBLE WITH YOUR LIFE IF YOU RIGHT YOU LOOSE NOTHING IF YOU WRONG THEN YOU CAN NOT come bak
... I want to marry this woman lol. That pretty much sums up her intelligence, her hotness, and her sweetness towards her kid. Making Atheists look good Love, keep up the good work. =)
You're right, you don't need God to be a good person. I'm not trying to save you. Only God can do that. I'm just fascinated by why you care about talking to Christians and about our God. The boogeyman is a @&!*. See how silly that is? I don't believe in the boogeyman. Listen, you are already lost. You may be hardened beyond repair. God is not willing that any perish, but some do. There is really only one difference between you and a Christian. We believe what Jesus said. You don't.
I'm agnostics and In my view Anti Theism is just as dangerous as any religion. intolerance of any kind is never a good thing.. As the great Yoda would say.
Fear leads to Anger, Anger leads to Hate, Hate leads to suffering.
Once I really grasped the beauty and saw how linear are world is I could see that I was acting insane saying that life was made from random occurances if you look at the probability that that happened. If everything was random life would be abstract like when you just throw random colored paint at a canvas . But its not like that we have set laws and set morals. Someone or something most likely made the blue print for are creation no and if or buts. Look at the beauty and detail life gives you.
I like what your saying. I also believe that the probability that one of these man made religions came from the man upstairs and not from the pencil in the hand of the man that thought he could control the world is very very very very unlikely, not impossible but unlikely. I also believed I was an athiest for the longest time until I got to thinking about the many laws that keep life afloat. The universal morals, the subatomic laws that manage are very existance.
lmao i kinda laughed when u said "virgin..." then ur son ran by lolol i thot it was funni... no one else?? ok, nvr mind. im an atheist too. lol and ppl tell me the same things... ur a believer and bllaaahhh
That's the #1 reason she killed her children... Look at her son behind her @0:48 playing around not knowing she was the most dangerous person or animal or demon for him.. If she wanted to she could have aborted him years ago. Have you tell your son that you killed his sister or brother???
I followed the link to this video because I thought I was going to hear an intelligent arguement for denying the existence of a God (or douche as you call him - very mature by the way). Thanks for wasting three and a half minutes of my time. Guys, stop emailing these fools and trying to convert them and just let them ramble. They're more to be pitied to be honest. Peace out right back at you.
I have a Roman Catholic background. Angie just reminded me of the saying "you can leave the church but the church never leaves you". Born a Catholic, always a Catholic. A Roman Catholic can stop kneeling, convert to extreme Islam, blow up a Temple & he/she would still be a Catholic, only he'd be regarded as a 'Bad Catholic!"
There's no escape from breast fed indoctrination bar courage to contemplate alternative thinking. Fundamentalists are fundamentally cowardly thinkers.
@cmadison93 Actually I know God is here and exists. I can feel it, If the world was to end, I wouldn't mind, why? Because I know all who believe will be saved, and that's fine with me... so long as those who don't rot...
I love how you totally dodged the point I was making.
You Christians claim that Jesus is all-loving and that you strive to be like your savior, and then show your true colors in comments like these. All you are is full of pure hatred.
Please do provide a logical argument as to why God exists.
@cmadison93 Hmm why he exists? Well before I can answer that you have to answer, why we exist? Why does the universe exist? If we didn't have a purpose well then, we might as well all be dead.
All you have shown in your comment is an amateur level of philosophical thought. If you're really going to resort to such illogical and childish arguments which have been thoroughly refuted in the past, this conversation is pointless. And I won't continue it in the comment section since you've shown such a low amount of philosophical intelligence.
@cmadison93 It is about belief, belief is not supposed to have evidence, it is based on your conscience and on what you think. I for one believe that there is God and he died for our sins. God does exist, only to those who believe in him.
Your 'logic' is flawed. That is like me saying, "I don't want to continue this debate about racism, I just KNOW that white people are superior. White people just ARE superior."
"I just KNOW these voices are talking to me in my head, don't tell me how or why they are just THERE"
You can use it with ANY situation you would like, dear.
@AngieAntiTheist You're actually the first person I've seen express the same opinion as me about souls (that I don't think we have one). It's very refreshing to see other people with that mind set :) Usually, if I say to someone that I don't believe in souls or an afterlife or anything like that, they just get so stunned, like I just told them the world was ending in five minutes - even if they're not great theists.
Well, I think I'll watch more of your vids - it's very interesting stuff :)
Who cares if there's a god or not. Be decent and live life, that's what it's for. We will either find out when we die, or we won't, it's not worth fighting over.
The very essence of who we are is God's doing. The incredible galaxies upon galaxies of stars. The GOD who says in Hebrews who says I AM a consuming fire. SO the very stars were created as HE is a fire. HE has given each of us a conscience to know right and wrong(sin).
HE made a way to redeem us back to HIMSELF and the very reason one expresses love is because of HIM.
@Rockioe Oh that is just an ironic name, I am quite sane. That doesn't change the fact that your argument is circular. Existence itself can't be evidence for god, because that makes the assumption that god must be. You have to start with the assumption that something doesn't exist to prove that it does. If i want to prove my sister exists i have to assume she doesn't then find evidence that she does i.e. seeing her, talking, her room, birth certificate, or any evidence. For god there is none.
@TheRantingsofaMadman oh and to add a little more "fire" is a poor and highly misleading way to describe a star, stars are much more spectacular than mere fire.
In short, your antics on YouTube show how much you want to believe again. Just like a child, you're looking for attention, good or bad. All this nonsense is to get a direct response from God. I guess if you don't get a direct reply from God, the way you expect it and in the timeframe you dictate, it'll convince you that you're right and you'll finally be able to comfortably cocoon yourself in the religion on atheism. At that point the YouTube videos will stop and your heart will be hardened for
Not believing and desperately denying are two very different things. You're no atheist, not yet. Watching your temper tantrums has been both amusing and enlightening. What, you think challenging Christianity will force God's hand, make Him prove his existence to you? You challenge Christians to prove the existence of God to you. Why? What's in it for you to challenge God's existence?
I doubt you will force God to dance to your tune just because you act condescending toward Christian beliefs on
The Hindu Gods are representative of states of consciousness. Let's not bastardize eastern religions. The reason wars are fought over western religions is because they make statements of objective truth. All eastern religions are based on tat tvam asi: Thou Art That, you are God.
All the other believers of other religions believe that their religion is the best and the right way and that it works. Christianity is just one of those philosophies in the whole soup. Jesus and Mohammed never wrote a damn thing in the bible or koran and you still believe that what it says is pure and perfectly written exactly how it was dictated. Its a real shame at the ignorans. Its mainly the uneducated people who have religion. All religios people use religion becasue they cantHackThisLife
@VladenX5 I've watched shockofgod videos. They're pathetic, and show just how gullible you have to be to buy into the idea that you have invisible magical superfriends.
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That one might be justified in sayings, and might overcome when judged.
Why even ask people to convince you that God exists. If you're an atheist be content with atheism. Why even be bothered with what Christians believe. Atheist follow the doctrine of Humanism. You have a religion too.
I would strongly suggest reading Richard Dawkins' book "The God Hypothesis". It's full of a LOT of atheism propaganda, but if you can read it with an open mind, and decide for yourself, there is a huge amount of information and ideas to really make you think, and make up your (collective) mind.
I think you're absolutely on the right track.... the thing that I don't understand about religion in general, is why we have to try so damn hard to prove that 'god' does not exist, when in every, and I mean EVERY other instance, you have to work your ass off to prove that something does exist or works, or whatever the case may be, you have to show people pictures, research, numbers.... SOLID PROOF!!!! religion is the one and only thing that makes people say "well then, prove that he doesn't"
hey im not trying to argue with you but im wondering what ur views are with what happens to us when we die? like where do you think our life goes cuz i dont think we can just end and thats it. what do you think?
@MegaLavaJava I personally think that "who" I am, my thoughts, passions, loves, etc. will all die when my brain does. There is no evidence that we have souls or any supernatural body parts that continue on after death.
I am okay with the idea of going to sleep forever. I imagine after I'm dead will be like before I was born - non-existence.
@MegaLavaJava Makes more sense for it to just end. Do you remember what it was like before you were born, the nothingness? Na you don't XD that's what it is like when you die. Even if i am wrong i know i am not going to be sitting on a cloud because we have planes up there and satellites in orbit that haven't seen a dude that looks like a skinny santa or any flying guys with gold rings on their heads.
lol...Does Angie really do all this unscripted or does she rehearse?
She is fucking great to listen to, even if you're not a hardcore atheist. Angie I would pay you for your efforts if there was an easier way to pay you. I hope you write a book or release a DVD someday Ange. I would buy it for sure.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
MISS ANGELA LETS TONE THE ATTITUDE DOWN EVEN IF IT TAKES 20 YEARS MAKE THE LORD JESUS CHRIST YOUR LORD AND SAVIOR YOULL BE GLAD YOU DID NOT THIS CRAPPY ATTITUDE YA GOT RIGHT NOW
@worshipjesustheking1 You're using all caps to suggest *I* tone things down a notch? I'll take reality over fantasy, even if the reality was worse (which it isn't. A world without a dictator god is not a worse world. It's just the one you and I already live in.)
But,the opposite is true....Theists in position of power who have taken over our governement are able and willing to destroy this planet so jesus can come back.If you do not believe me,google air force academy and religious right.Religion will be the destruction of our planet. What else can we expect when this is the message that's driven into our heads from day one. Most people repeat the threat without even thinking....
no I believe that you don't believe in God. I believe you are an atheist. I am a Christian. just as you are an atheist. i believe that you are an atheist. I agree. people should stop trying to convert you and let you be. as a Christian i support this. SO CHRISTIANS OUT THERE... LEAVE HER ALONE!!! SHE TRIED TO ASK NICELY. i like you, hate it when someone does not respect someone's right to believe what we want. Just please stop saying I don't have a soul. because i believe i do.
I always smile when people say that to me because it's one of the only questions I can be 100% sure of the answer with because I know I don't believe in god so even if I change my mind (not likely) I will still know that it's possible to be an atheist.
I've heard too many times religious people saying atheists believe in god deep in their hearts. Its just annoying now. I even CHECKED in there, just for them. How some simply cannot comprehend some things like this just depresses me.
Angie! since you already developed your own "believes" on what "you" believe to be right and wrong, why don't you start your own church? Believing there is no God takes more faith than believing there is a God. Sad, quietly and silently brain washing people. I hope God has any mercy on your "believers"...as for you? Pray for forgiveness and repent for all the people you will cause to lose their salvation. Guess what? fancy talk doesn't work on true Christians and you should know that.. Seriously.
Loved the video! At the end you said really loudly that the tooth fairy was just mom. I could see your son in the background; does he believe in the tooth fairy? If he does hopefully he didn't hear you haha! That made me laugh :)
@AgainstZombies I've never directly told my son one way or the other about Santa, Jesus, the tooth fairy, etc. Honestly, at the time I made this video I'm not sure he'd heard of the tooth fairy. He also has high functioning autism so he doesn't pick up very much on dialogue going on around him. At this point he says Santa is pretend but some days he says his foot is pretend too. :p
Angie, can you explain to me why you seem to pretty consistently resort to expletives when referring to God? If you want to be an atheist, I don't have a problem with it. You appear to be of age and responsible for yourself so you can choose your own life path. What I don't understand is anger towards nothing. If there is no God, then why waste your breath describing 'nothing' in such ugly speech? Anger is an emotion, and you are angry. So my question is: What are you angry at?
It's called an "emotional apeal." Some people don't understand argumentation until you hit them where it hurts. Emotional responses often work better with christians, because emotion is what religion is driven by. Clearly, there's no logic to it, just pure emotion.
How do you wake a person up from an emotional coma? You use emotion to persuade them to think about another possibility.
@FrizzKid05 I would not argue that much of what people respond to is emotion, both love and hate and everything in between. But at least a religious person displays emotion about what they fervently believe exists. Using hateful language toward what does not exist is even more illogical, if that's possible. I think what they are angry at is what they perceive as something, that hurt them. I don't dislike Angie. I don't agree with her, but I've no reason to dislike her.
(2). Perhaps her circumstances are just calling a spill-over of what she is experiencing onto other things. I do hope things will improve for her. But she's a smart woman and she certainly knows that this particular response by her isn't helpful. My cousin who runs the FFRF, does the same thing. He doesn't just dislike Christians he writes music filled with hateful lyrics about them. Why not just say he doesn't believe and move on?
From your last response, I can tell that you just might be one of the more intelligible christians who can get a grip on psychological appeal.
However, a vast majority of christians are not that way. They follow the teachings of christianity because it makes them feel good about their lives and where they are going. Most christians can't wrap their heads around the real logic of what's going on with their religion.
For instance, the christian god felt that he had to kill his own son in order to forgive the "sins" of the people that HE created. Why did such a violent attrocity have to occur for him to SUDDENLY be compassionate? Why couldn't he just forgive. However, christians believe that it was this great heroic act by their god to save them from a problem that HE created in the first place. That's what doesn't make sense to me. Why did he create the problem if it was a problem for him?
@FrizzKid05 Your argument is a fair one, and any person who calls him/herself a Christian nees to address that. I certainly did. Although I did have a few Christian influences in my young life, for the most part I grew up under abusive conditions, had to be placed in foster care, a string of relative placements, etc. So just telling me God loved me, didn't ring true in my young mind. The adults surely didn't demonstrate any level of acceptable parenting skills.
(2) I pretty much had to find my own way. While people such as myself were starved for the emotion of love, it is always mixed with a big dose of suspicion. I've been a Christian for more than 40 years, but it was very tenuous for many, many years. It took years of study to arrive where I am. I could have abandoned it at any time. I am not a fan of so-called salvation based on an emotional experience carefully inflicted by manipulation. It is rarely sincere and is quick to be left.
(3) If Angie says she is accused of running or rebelling. Only she can accept or reject that. It's not my decision to make. I can only comment on what I see. She claims to reject the irrationality of what religious people believe, but then uses abusive language towards 'nothing'. Her tone says she is angry. So the question is, what is she angry at and if it is some Deity, it's defies logic. If Angie changes her mind, that is her decision. I have no power to persuade her to do anything.
(4) As a Christian I do hope she will choose Christ, but bottom line, what Angie does is her choice. She is a free moral agent. Typically trying to manipulate people into doing something they don't want to do, isn't effective and truthfully, it's not honest. I've just never had an atheist explain why they feel they have to denigrate God who doesn't exist in their minds. I have offered to help Angie in terms of her child because I've been a teacher for decades,
(5) I would help her whether she decides to adopt my views on faith or not. It's just the right thing to do. Her child deserves the best services and if she isn't getting them, then it's a joy to help. I know that many school districts avoid doing what they should because they can. I have nothing to gain other than the knowledge that a child is helped.
I've enjoyed our discussion. I personally wish more people would apply reason to the life decisions they make.
Yeah. I was adopted at a young age(8 months) and my parents had me in church from when I was young. I didn't really have many negative influences in christianity. It's just that coming to terms with the lack of logic in the idea of the religion didn't sit right with me.
It was a long process of trying to figure out where christianity fit right in my life, and I've decided that it doesn't. I'll still go to a few retreats, just to hang out with everybody, but that's all I have.
"The mind changes in every respect from the time you are born to the time you die. So you would never know if the baby wanted to live or die. Think..If you were aborted, would you be able to tell your mother you wish you weren't? And going further how would you know you would not change your mind in the future? Abortion is stopping a certain individual that does not represent you but himself or herself from existence. "
The most annoying, and arrogant/condecending, part of these two arguments, the no true christian, and no true atheist, is that the theist making these arguments are claiming to know the inner workings of the atheist better than him or herself. These arguments fail because it assumes knowledge that they can ne er have, and are asinine and disrespectful because they come from a place of bad faith in the conversation.
@ainefairygoddess Well yes, but the same people who tell me I never really believed are likely to tell a gay person they "chose" not to be straight and can be "cured" if they pray hard enough. Pretending to know the inner workings of other people is what they do best! :)
@AngieAntiTheist I guess my point is that I think another response might be to call them out on that tactic and let them know how offensive it is, rather than play into their tactic by trying to proove whatever actually was or is going on in your own brain. But this is only a disagreement on tactics, so whichever works for you to use in discussions is up to you...
When somebody says they are Christian, it tells me... your a sucker, your desperate, and your ignorant. Christianity takes the credit for the good you are already. Then profits off you on the bad they instill on you. Which you never realized. Once you experience it. You say to yourself " I couldn't have been this doped?". You realize u have embarrassed and humiliated yourself. U cant handle that so you say to yourself "ahhh...this is the devil". If so, declare urself self-brainwashed then.
I think you have had a bad experience of Christianality. If you don't believe in God then your choice. No one shoukld force you. Surely if you didn't care about Christians, God or no God then you would make videos about it.. Makes you look like you are desperate to find God. So if you want Christians to stop messaging you and all the rest then stop posting videos!
@cherrycakesbaybee You make so many assumptions, I barely know where to start. Let's begin with the idea that I *don't* want Christians messaging me. Where the fuck do you get that one?
@cherrycakesbaybee, yeah, if she just stopped posting videos she'd stop getting idiotic comments like yours! If she just shuts up she'll stop getting nasty messages! That's a great Christian response.
It's very arrogant of you to decide she's "desperate to find God". If you know God's address, why don't you tell her? (And no, I'm not talking about idiotic answers like "church", "eveywhere, or "your heart". )
@KitCox In the Hippie Jesus, Bikers for Jesus, Hookers for Jesus etc. "reformed sinner" clubs, many of their conversion stories are similar to St. Paul's Damascus Road experience - a sudden overwhelming feeling of guilt & sense of hopelessness, then relief at the thought of turning it all over to god - usually while under the influence of heavy narcotics. I heard it A LOT in Christian charities I volunteered with.
@AngieAntiTheist Ahh, gotcha covered. Freud(take him or leave him on his various theories about psychosis) once said that religion was basically a psychosis. I also read in one of my publications that it may be driven by an ego that can't stand the thought of "not being". I can see where depression might drive it, too.
@KitCox I think there are so many driving factors behind religion's propagation. I think the hereditary nature of indoctrinating children is probably the single biggest factor, although political/sexual power certainly helps. (ie, Vatican can ensure many more future Catholic babies in Africa by barring its members from using condoms.)
@AngieAntiTheist Yeah, ya right. As to the Vatican, it ain't Africa I'm worried about, it's every thing south of the Rio Grande!!! Another publication I read said that over population is the way the Catholic Church maintains control over a country since that's a LEADING cause of poverty. A popular joke is that no condom has been made that can stop Mexican sperm. The truth is, no Mexican has been 'made' that will WEAR a condom, lest he burn for ever in a liquid lake of fire.
@AngieAntiTheist " (ie, Vatican can ensure many more future Catholic babies in Africa by barring its members from using condoms."
Besides the fact that God specifically tells us that immoral sex is a SIN. You see where it got you...and now your attempt to "fix the problem" is an abortion. You are a MURDERER Angie. Plain and simple.
@bornagain001 Neither plain nor simple. If I was a murderer, if abortion were illegal, I'd be in jail after such an open confession as the one I gave on YT. But abortion is neither illegal nor murder.
There are no "facts" when it comes to anything you think an all-powerful being taught a child rapist in a dress to pass on to you. Those are just lies and stories, you imbecilic child rape apologist. You fund (with tithes) and excuse with words rapists & their escape. You sicken me to my core.

Ang, I've heard the same thing--that I'm just "mad at God". Pretty condescending, isn't it? Actually, every atheist I've ever communicated with, who was once religious, deconverted in stages, that involved a lot of thinking, reflection, discussion, questioning, looking at evidence, etc. It was a long, logical process. On the other hand, every one I know who converted TO religion did so as part of an emotional event--death of someone close, falling in love with a theist, sickness, etc.
@DandAinTac Very good response. It took me about 20 years, a subscription to Scientific American, and reading several Isaac Asimov books. I went through the agnostic phase along the way. I was a confirmed Catholic to boot. In fairness I must admit I resisted what my logic was telling me. In the end I beat the brainwashing. What a relief.
@KitCox Congratulations Kit. Religion does not hesitate to use fear and coercion--threats of eternal torture and damnation simply for doubting. The God character is a terrifying tyrannical old man. Also, there have always been powerful and coercive social pressures to keep people in the flock, regardless of what logical and private doubts they may have. They may no longer burn people at the stake, but they can still ridicule, belittle, and ostracize.
So what do you believe happens when you die, nothing? Ok we get that you don't believe in God, but just because you don't believe doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Do you not see the mess of the world that we've caused? Life is crap a lot of the time. My faith is my hope in this world. No-one can tell me God doesn't exist. I'm not shouting it at you, just saying my opinion. I'm really offended by your anger at Christians and your hateful words.
@brighteyes990 The number of super natural beings and deities that have been worshiped starting from before when written history was recorded is, possibilities, nearly infinite. Are you so arrogant to believe you have the only true god out of all that have preceded?
@brighteyes990 "I'm really offended by your anger at Christians..." Why shouldn't we be? You're the evil bastards trying to turn the United States into a christian nation when the word 'christian' is found no where in the Declaration nor the Constitution. Not to mention the First Amendment. Hateful words? You haven't heard hateful yet, bunky. Wanna take me on? I'll jam your bible right up your poop. Sideways. The forty pound Guttenburg in the Library of Congress...
This is the first video of yours I have seen and so far I love it. I have alot of the same feelings you do on the subject (alot of the things you said in your rant at the end are things I would love to have the courage to say out loud like that).
@jacquelineugarte Well so far you've made claims with no citation and implied I haven't studied the Bible and Biblical history more thoroughly than most Christians, so you're being pretty typically annoying thus far :p
@jacquelineugarte Jacque, here is something you should look up in the bible yourself, since I'm 'reasonably' certain you haven't. I give no chapter and verse, in order to force you to find it.
"If a man finds a virgin who is not pledged to be married,
and rapes her, and they are discovered, he shall pay the girls
father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl because
he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he
@jacquelineugarte Jacque, I'll keep my tongue civil here. Logic is the biggest. Either we can think and come to conclusions that are irrefutable, or we can't. The fact is: Evil exists. The second fact is: God says he creates evil:
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Christian apologists have all kinds of ways to spin this for unsuspecting and gullible minds.
@jacquelineugarte Part 2. BTW, thank you for asking the question. It shows some hope. Feel free to question anything I say. To continue:
The problem of evil is the biggest hurdle for any belief in a god to overcome. Christians have been brainwashed to believe that evil comes from our failure to use that free will to reject it and chose god. No matter how they explain and spin evil, the only truth is that god created it. No universe and man, no evil. Man and universe, evil. See Part 3.
@jacquelineugarte Part 3. Before continuing with evil I have to explain how Catholics were taught about god. God has one condition and three attributes.
Condition: He is infinite. He always was and always will be. No?
Attributes:
1. He is Omnipotent. INFINITELY powerful. Can do ANYTHING. He can't?
2. He is Omniscient. INFINITELY knowledgeable. He know EVERYTHING including the future. He doesn't?
3. He is Omnibeneficent. He is INFINITELY good. No evil in him.
Hi, thank you so much for existing, I am SO HAPPY that someone has realized the truth and is strong enough to say it for all to hear.
cvlewis123 21 hours ago
Angie, my prayer for you and for anyone reading these posts is that you all will turn to Jesus Christ. If you don't believe in Him and you sincerely want to know the truth, just ask Him and He will show you truth. Read the Bible and just see what it has to say. God bless you all! :)
TammyS64 3 days ago
We all have a choice, we can either accept Jesus as God or we can reject Him. One thing that is for certain for all of us is that we are going to die and Angie if you are wrong I would not want to be in your shoes for anything. The poet Ralph Waldo Emerson wrote: The sun shines and warms and lights us and we have no curiosity to know why this is so; but we ask the reason for evil, of pain and hunger, and mosquitoes and silly people.
TammyS64 3 days ago
You mentioned why doesn't God do away with all sickness, pain and little children hurting. Well, He is going to do that but in His time. One day all of that will be gone forever. I have not always lived for Jesus. I would not want to go back to the life I had before Jesus for anything. God has given me everything that I was searching for. It amazes me how much you talk about a God that you don't even believe exists.
TammyS64 3 days ago
You mentioned that why doesn't God come to earth and show Himself to us, He did almost two thousand years ago. You know this, Jesus came and only did good because that is what God is He is good. He is love. He was spat upon and rejected and He allowed them to hang Him on the cross. He allowed this Angie because He loves you. God's desire for you is for you to live with Him in heaven forever. It doesn't matter what you have done in the past. He loves you just as you are.
TammyS64 3 days ago
God wants to bless the people that He created but if those people are in rebellion to Him how can He do that? Everything in this world that is bad or hurtful is in this world because of man's disobedience to God (sin). Anyone who talks mean or hateful to you because of what you believe is not doing what God would have them do. God is the one who has made the rules. His rule says that if a person rejects Him as God they can not live with Him after they die.
TammyS64 3 days ago
Hi Angie, I came across your video and decided to respond. I'm not going to tell you the plan of salvation because it seems to me that you know it all pretty well. The heavens declare the glory of God. All any of us have to do is look at our world and if we are honest with ourselves we know that it just could not have happened. God is real, Jesus is real and one day all of us will stand before Jesus Christ and He will judge us based upon whether we have bowed our knee to Him.
TammyS64 3 days ago
jesus came to earth to show us GOD looked just like us the shape and form of a man
when jesus came to earth he argued with the teachers and preachers of the law
because he was sent to BRAKE the law of sin
he came to brake the mold of what people think religion is
the first and last -finished the work of sin giving us immortality the researechtion of the dead
every one argues about jesus but NO ONE talks about reserection of the dead or immortality
thats REAL christianity beliefs

But I know there is no such thing as a true atheist, they are all either religious and angry or simple agnostic like me and you who say "You know what, I don't know, and I won't make a claim either way." I mean it can go 1 of a million ways, y commit?! Religion is a plague, but stay open minded

Look at the beauty and detail life gives you.
montgomery32177 4 months ago
I like what your saying. I also believe that the probability that one of these man made religions came from the man upstairs and not from the pencil in the hand of the man that thought he could control the world is very very very very unlikely, not impossible but unlikely. I also believed I was an athiest for the longest time until I got to thinking about the many laws that keep life afloat. The universal morals, the subatomic laws that manage are very existance.

Please do provide a logical argument as to why God exists.
cmadison93 7 months ago
@cmadison93 Hmm why he exists? Well before I can answer that you have to answer, why we exist? Why does the universe exist? If we didn't have a purpose well then, we might as well all be dead.
HeLeX63 7 months ago
@HeLeX63
1. Provide evidence for the existence of a God
2. Provide evidence for why he exists
All you have shown in your comment is an amateur level of philosophical thought. If you're really going to resort to such illogical and childish arguments which have been thoroughly refuted in the past, this conversation is pointless. And I won't continue it in the comment section since you've shown such a low amount of philosophical intelligence.
PM me if you want to continue this 'debate'.
cmadison93 7 months ago
@cmadison93 It is about belief, belief is not supposed to have evidence, it is based on your conscience and on what you think. I for one believe that there is God and he died for our sins. God does exist, only to those who believe in him.

HE created family Mom & Dad brothers and sisters.

Rockioe 8 months ago
@Rockioe Oh that is just an ironic name, I am quite sane. That doesn't change the fact that your argument is circular. Existence itself can't be evidence for god, because that makes the assumption that god must be. You have to start with the assumption that something doesn't exist to prove that it does. If i want to prove my sister exists i have to assume she doesn't then find evidence that she does i.e. seeing her, talking, her room, birth certificate, or any evidence. For god there is none.
TheRantingsofaMadman 7 months ago
@TheRantingsofaMadman oh and to add a little more "fire" is a poor and highly misleading way to describe a star, stars are much more spectacular than mere fire.
TheRantingsofaMadman 7 months ago
In short, your antics on YouTube show how much you want to believe again. Just like a child, you're looking for attention, good or bad. All this nonsense is to get a direct response from God. I guess if you don't get a direct reply from God, the way you expect it and in the timeframe you dictate, it'll convince you that you're right and you'll finally be able to comfortably cocoon yourself in the religion on atheism. At that point the YouTube videos will stop and your heart will be hardened for

shpakovaS1 11 months ago
I think you're absolutely on the right track.... the thing that I don't understand about religion in general, is why we have to try so damn hard to prove that 'god' does not exist, when in every, and I mean EVERY other instance, you have to work your ass off to prove that something does exist or works, or whatever the case may be, you have to show people pictures, research, numbers.... Angie! since you already developed your own "believes" on what "you" believe to be right and wrong, why don't you start your own church? Pray for forgiveness and repent for all the people you will cause to lose their salvation. Guess what? fancy talk doesn't work on true Christians and you should know that.. Seriously.

AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
Angie, can you explain to me why you seem to pretty consistently resort to expletives when referring to God? If you want to be an atheist, I don't have a problem with it. You appear to be of age and responsible for yourself so you can choose your own life path. What I don't understand is anger towards nothing. If there is no God, then why waste your breath describing 'nothing' in such ugly speech? Anger is an emotion, and you are angry. So my question is: What are you angry at?
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
@SkiesVibrant
FrizzKid05 1 year ago
@FrizzKid05 I would not argue that much of what people respond to is emotion, both love and hate and everything in between. But at least a religious person displays emotion about what they fervently believe exists. Using hateful language toward what does not exist is even more illogical, if that's possible. I think what they are angry at is what they perceive as something, that hurt them. I don't dislike Angie. I don't agree with her, but I've no reason to dislike her.
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
Thanks for your response. :)
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
@SkiesVibrant
FrizzKid05 1 year ago
@FrizzKid05
FrizzKid05 1 year ago

SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
(3) If Angie says she is accused of running or rebelling. Only she can accept or reject that. It's not my decision to make. I can only comment on what I see. She claims to reject the irrationality of what religious people believe, but then uses abusive language towards 'nothing'. Her tone says she is angry. So the question is, what is she angry at and if it is some Deity, it's defies logic. If Angie changes her mind, that is her decision. I have no power to persuade her to do anything.
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
(4) As a Christian I do hope she will choose Christ, but bottom line, what Angie does is her choice. She is a free moral agent. Typically trying to manipulate people into doing something they don't want to do, isn't effective and truthfully, it's not honest. I've just never had an atheist explain why they feel they have to denigrate God who doesn't exist in their minds. I have offered to help Angie in terms of her child because I've been a teacher for decades,
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
(5) I would help her whether she decides to adopt my views on faith or not. It's just the right thing to do. Her child deserves the best services and if she isn't getting them, then it's a joy to help. I know that many school districts avoid doing what they should because they can. I have nothing to gain other than the knowledge that a child is helped.
I've enjoyed our discussion. I personally wish more people would apply reason to the life decisions they make.
SkiesVibrant 1 year ago
@SkiesVibrant

These arguments fail because it assumes knowledge that they can ne er have, and are asinine and disrespectful because they come from a place of bad faith in the conversation.
ainefairygoddess 1 year ago
@ainefairygoddess Well yes, but the same people who tell me I never really believed are likely to tell a gay person they "chose" not to be straight and can be "cured" if they pray hard enough. Pretending to know the inner workings of other people is what they do best! :)
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@AngieAntiTheist I guess my point is that I think another response might be to call them out on that tactic and let them know how offensive it is, rather than play into their tactic by trying to proove whatever actually was or is going on in your own brain. But this is only a disagreement on tactics, so whichever works for you to use in discussions is up to you...
ainefairygoddess 1 year ago
That's a valid point. I'll have to add it to my repertoire.

So if you want Christians to stop messaging you and all the rest then stop posting videos!
cherrycakesbaybee 1 year ago
@cherrycakesbaybee You make so many assumptions, I barely know where to start. Let's begin with the idea that I *don't* want Christians messaging me. Where the fuck do you get that one?
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@AngieAntiTheist Sorry if I got the wrong impression :)
cherrycakesbaybee 1 year ago
@cherrycakesbaybee, yeah, if she just stopped posting videos she'd stop getting idiotic comments like yours! If she just shuts up she'll stop getting nasty messages! That's a great Christian response.
It's very arrogant of you to decide she's "desperate to find God". If you know God's address, why don't you tell her? (And no, I'm not talking about idiotic answers like "church", "eveywhere, or "your heart". )

Angie, I'm kinda ignorant, not to mention a little dense sometimes. What's wino-Damascus-road?
KitCox 1 year ago
@KitCox In the Hippie Jesus, Bikers for Jesus, Hookers for Jesus etc. "reformed sinner" clubs, many of their conversion stories are similar to St. Paul's Damascus Road experience - a sudden overwhelming feeling of guilt & sense of hopelessness, then relief at the thought of turning it all over to god - usually while under the influence of heavy narcotics. I heard it A LOT in Christian charities I volunteered with.
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@AngieAntiTheist Ahh, gotcha covered. Freud(take him or leave him on his various theories about psychosis) once said that religion was basically a psychosis. I also read in one of my publications that it may be driven by an ego that can't stand the thought of "not being". I can see where depression might drive it, too.
KitCox 1 year ago
@KitCox I think there are so many driving factors behind religion's propagation. I think the hereditary nature of indoctrinating children is probably the single biggest factor, although political/sexual power certainly helps. (ie, Vatican can ensure many more future Catholic babies in Africa by barring its members from using condoms.)
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@AngieAntiTheist Yeah, ya right. As to the Vatican, it ain't Africa I'm worried about, it's every thing south of the Rio Grande!!! Another publication I read said that over population is the way the Catholic Church maintains control over a country since that's a LEADING cause of poverty. A popular joke is that no condom has been made that can stop Mexican sperm. The truth is, no Mexican has been 'made' that will WEAR a condom, lest he burn for ever in a liquid lake of fire.
KitCox 1 year ago
@AngieAntiTheist " (ie, Vatican can ensure many more future Catholic babies in Africa by barring its members from using condoms."
Besides the fact that God specifically tells us that immoral sex is a SIN. You see where it got you...and now your attempt to "fix the problem" is an abortion. You are a MURDERER Angie. Plain and simple.
bornagain001 1 year ago

@DandAinTac My favorite top 3 "salvation testimonies" are Bible camp/revival, raised in Sunday School and wino-Damuscus-road
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@DandAinTac Very good response. It took me about 20 years, a subscription to Scientific American, and reading several Isaac Asimov books. I went through the agnostic phase along the way. I was a confirmed Catholic to boot. In fairness I must admit I resisted what my logic was telling me. In the end I beat the brainwashing. What a relief.
KitCox 1 year ago
@KitCox Congratulations Kit. Religion does not hesitate to use fear and coercion--threats of eternal torture and damnation simply for doubting. The God character is a terrifying tyrannical old man. Also, there have always been powerful and coercive social pressures to keep people in the flock, regardless of what logical and private doubts they may have. They may no longer burn people at the stake, but they can still ridicule, belittle, and ostracize.
DandAinTac 1 year ago
So what do you believe happens when you die, nothing? Ok we get that you don't believe in God, but just because you don't believe doesn't mean He doesn't exist. Do you not see the mess of the world that we've caused? Life is crap a lot of the time. My faith is my hope in this world. No-one can tell me God doesn't exist. I'm not shouting it at you, just saying my opinion. I'm really offended by your anger at Christians and your hateful words.
brighteyes990 1 year ago
@brighteyes990 The number of super natural beings and deities that have been worshiped starting from before when written history was recorded is, possibilities, nearly infinite. Are you so arrogant to believe you have the only true god out of all that have preceded?
01jerm10 1 year ago
@brighteyes990 "I'm really offended by your anger at Christians..." Why shouldn't we be? You're the evil bastards trying to turn the United States into a christian nation when the word 'christian' is found no where in the Declaration nor the Constitution. Not to mention the First Amendment. Hateful words? You haven't heard hateful yet, bunky. Wanna take me on? I'll jam your bible right up your poop. Sideways. The forty pound Guttenburg in the Library of Congress...
Now, pray for me.

I'm not trying to be the "typical annoying" Christian, but their is ALOT of proof about what the bible says that is accurat, you should look it up.
jacquelineugarte 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte Well so far you've made claims with no citation and implied I haven't studied the Bible and Biblical history more thoroughly than most Christians, so you're being pretty typically annoying thus far :p
AngieAntiTheist 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte Jacque, here is something you should look up in the bible yourself, since I'm 'reasonably' certain you haven't. I give no chapter and verse, in order to force you to find it.
"If a man finds a virgin who is not pledged to be married,
and rapes her, and they are discovered, he shall pay the girls
father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl because
he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he
lives."
Is this what you mean by accurate?
KitCox 1 year ago
Could you possibly list some of the reasons you don't believe in God, I'm Curious.
jacquelineugarte 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte : Which god? Or do you mean all gods?
auggiedoggy 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte Jacque, I'll keep my tongue civil here. Logic is the biggest. Either we can think and come to conclusions that are irrefutable, or we can't. The fact is: Evil exists. The second fact is: God says he creates evil:
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Christian apologists have all kinds of ways to spin this for unsuspecting and gullible minds.
Part 2 coming up. Hang in there.
KitCox 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte Part 2. BTW, thank you for asking the question. It shows some hope. Feel free to question anything I say. To continue:
The problem of evil is the biggest hurdle for any belief in a god to overcome. Christians have been brainwashed to believe that evil comes from our failure to use that free will to reject it and chose god. No matter how they explain and spin evil, the only truth is that god created it. No universe and man, no evil. Man and universe, evil. See Part 3.
KitCox 1 year ago
@jacquelineugarte Part 3. Before continuing with evil I have to explain how Catholics were taught about god. God has one condition and three attributes.
Condition: He is infinite. He always was and always will be. No?
Attributes:
1. He is Omnipotent. INFINITELY powerful. Can do ANYTHING. He can't?
2. He is Omniscient. INFINITELY knowledgeable. He know EVERYTHING including the future. He doesn't?
3. He is Omnibeneficent. He is INFINITELY good. No evil in him.
Part 3 next.
