  • @1991GHS Google this:EWI 4000S

  • T-square fucking ROCK!!!

only old fucks can rock.. most music nowadays is worthless unfortunaley, seriously will these trendy bands still be going (and will you still be real fan?)

make youre own new style.. fuck having the haircuts like my mother .. be original! make youre own path!

  • @MrMiister Actually, the the Bassist, Drummer and Keyboardist of T-Square aren't old... Listen to T-Square's "Jikan Ryoko". The Drummer and Keyboardist actually wrote most of the songs in that Album. And it's still awesome.

  • @RaldyV arnt the bass, drummer and synth player new guys? i thought they came in about 2007? though im probably wrong, ive listened to jikan ryoko, very sedate compared to a lot of their early stuff, yeah they are a jazz band but there was always a few tracks per album to get the pace up :) ocean express and ayaisa seem to be the best on the new album, sounds like they kept the EWI sound as well, just need to start playing them like the vid above :)

  • @MrMiister T-Square-- Using Lyricon since 1979, then, replacing it with EWI in 1988, and keeping it from there. And I don't think they'll take the EWI out. And with that said, Listen to their NEWEST album, "Takara no Uta". Pretty much, the new T-Square guys (Satoshi Bandoh, Keizoh Kawano and Shingo Tanaka) playing "The Square". And on "It's Magic" from that album, you can hear Mitsuru Sutoh (T-Square Bass, 1987 - 2000) and Toyoyuki Tanaka (Bass 1982 - 1986).

  • @RaldyV what we can hear and who had a play in the tunes are a different story,.

bandoh was an old guy, after him kawa replaced him, but he wasnt original t square

.... but youre missing the point :)

  • @MrMiister Bandoh's actually newer than Kawano-- Kawano was a Support Member on keyboards-- unofficial- from 2000 to 2003. He became official in 2004, and Bandoh joined on Drums in 2005.

Kawano never replaced Bandoh, because, like I said, Bandoh's on Drums, and Kawano's on keyboards.

But back to the point. Disregard Bandoh, Kawano and Shingo Tanaka, It's Masahiro Andoh who wrote the song. The same man who wrote "Moon over the Castle" from the Gran Turismo series.

  • sorry about that...i meant bandohs age, but anyway original post meant.. older guys have more skill and more life experience in terms of song writing, i think thats why theres so much crap skilless music around nowadays, from pop to (what passes for) metal nowadays most people when their young just want to "fit in" to a scene.. and i think it takes a lot to break away from that, especially now adays

..that was the original point anyway

  • @RaldyV Sorry to but in, but on It's Magic from "Takara no Uta", It's only Toyoyuki Tanaka playing. They panned his solo towards the end and it gives the effect two guys are playing.

  • @connersaltzer wow. This is actually news to me. Thanks for clearing it up, Conner.

  • @MrMiister well said :)

  • @pebblefrog196 thank you sir :)

  • @MrMiister The way you say old fucks is kinda eh, well, when you first read it it sounds like you're going to mock them and call out on em'. You didn't need to emphasize "old" with the word "fuck"

  • @XOSiren18XO

well im old,and they do rock.. so tough shit kid :)

i'll try to be more fucking PC next time

  • How do you know?

  • @RhezaFadlySurya I know this was after their 30th Anniversary Show because that was on July 2008.

  • This performance was *After* Yaon de Asobu 2008/T-Square's 30th Anniversary Concert, Right?
