  • Five people are impatient. ;)

  • One of my favorites!!

  • Chilling vocals, reminds me of days gone by when I was a boy, thank you Journey

  • one...one in a million

  • it needs not our help

  • this was the first journey song i ever heard when i was 7 and it hooked me on their music for the rest of my days up till now and most truly for the future

  • the best of the best departure, infinity, and captured, of coarse its all good thou

  • anybody here from east durham,n.c.?remember a band called blizzard?ricky wilson,pat register,william[billy] bazen,joe johnson.these guys were the second journey.they rocked live!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The angels in Heaven must sound like Steve Perry !

  • @LovTheNose

    They do. :D

  • STEVE, ONE AND A MILLION....Well more than a million cause no replacement will ever have what he has....

  • Comming from the journey ERA I will say they ignite something that doesn't exist in todays music true feeling, and I will always remember the personal closeness that I felt at that time and place what a great memory there will never be another Journey there are no copies and they are fools to think there are..

  • Impeccable!!!! This is classic Journey! Steve is the one of the all time best singers in rock bar none!!!

  • steve perry rulse the world he just dont know it yet

    rock on

  • I REALLY Love the Solo.

    Very Nice :]

  • love this song

  • 4 Bullets please!

  • I'm not even gonna intertain the thought that anyone but Steve could bring the sound, the passion Journey HAD......I'm greatful I there in the time of what is no longer around GREAT MUSIC...

  • @tleegirl1 i feel the same.. i thought i could get used to the new one but cannot... SP will always be the voice of journey to me..

  • From a great / their best album !!

  • whats up there should be at least 10 pages of comments on this song, I was 17 when this was out, the entire record rocked me in the 70's and this song stood out big time for me,got videos in the later years after the original steve, and none beat the early years, we will just have to jam to the originals forever then.

  • @curtbarile yup!!!

  • Whatever ultimately created their personal differences, quarrels and internal strife, Journey created a sound that was truly "lightning in a bottle!" ... and Perry's voice was (and is) the catalyst that makes these 5 artists greater than the sum of their parts. Any other singer (Pineda, Augeri, Soto...etc) will never be more than a imitation of the original?

  • @Tommasini9 - well said !

  • @Tommasini9

You hit the nail on the head! I just wish Steve would record the material he talked about back in feb. I miss him.

  • @Tommasini9

I couldn't have said it better, well put.

  • yep it kicks

and the band sucked there after

what a fucking waste of a fnatastic lead guitar player. N S You are the best and I hope to hear your work again.

  • I actually feel sorry for Arnel. I mean, he has a GREAT voice, but it's like taking the top English student and saying "here he is folks... the new Shakespeare."

  • @BBCater I agree. Arnel has a similar voice with different qualities. He may yet bring forth a second stage for Neal Schon, Jonathan Cain, Ross and Deen. Journey is in its next incarnation and hope to hear more either way. Just wish we could hear from Steve Perry. He is still around -too bad he's not singing.

  • no way arnel can top this beautiful voice

  • ONE IN A MILLION!!!!

  • this is always a classic

  • Dint even say that "Brightmeadow". Steve pwns Arnel by a long shot.

  • Without a doubt. In the lyrics of Aerosmith, he's nothing but "a new version if the old scene". Still good, saw him live it was very nice.

  • this song makes you realize how much arnel Pineda doesnt even compare to Steve Perry

  • @Ackleykid101 Steve Perry is and will always be Journey!

  • OMG

    this songs kcks ass man

  • yep, ansley dunsbar did a job on the drums. so did ross on the bass, neil on the guitar, greg on the keys and so on. this was an amazing tour back in '78. thanks so much for the post.\

    c

  • Separate Ways is still my favourite Journey song, but I love this one as well.

  • journey is so awesome im learning the guitar in this song and its pretty easy

  • yes, but try learning the vocals a la Steve Perry...lol...now thats hard.

  • I love this song.

  • This is one of my top three favorites from Journey, the other two being Lights and Winds of March. Thank you for posting.
