I am doing a MBA in Energy (The Energy MBA) and I am launching a renewable energy / sustainability blog where I would also like occasionally link to some of your Portugal language videos (I am focusing on Portugal's renewable energy portfolio while I am here and the language videos would also help and be a cool cultural component). Many young Americans don't know how to dress appropriately in America. They will come to church in shorts and a t-shirt (Catholics are the worst for this) but buy or rent expensive clothing for some high school dance.

@PhilipDK5800 Yeah, you Danes are pretty hardcore ;) But for $10 for a beer I would be pretty hardcore too... Though Tivoli ain't too hardcore but fun none the less... and Neuhaven (spelling) ain't too bad, though dang my wallet still hurts from drinking there :)

With the whole learning the language thing, I try to do what he said, but then people think I'm fluent or soemthing. and I'm not. So I end up saying "yes" to things that I don't necessarily agree with.

i would add "when having a conversation with someone else, please try to avoid the constant - and unnecessary - repetition of the word 'like'" and "please speak a little less". Have you ever been in a conversation with someone that spoke rapid-fire-machine-gun for minutes in a row? It makes one tired.

All your travel trips are so true. That happened to me. I noticed they liked me more if I tried to speak their language. In Cyprus, I was so imbarrassed. The locals just kept staring in disbelief at this drunk English man, size of a giant, at least 6'5", Jumping up and down on the old floor, trying to dance greek.
