every album reflects to the bands maturing and developement of their own sound;. in the first one it was some groovy alternative shit, then on impossibility it was pure speed , s/t was a bit bland for , was just crazy death metal, rssurection was the shit, but the infection is the heaviest shit theyve done
All of there albums are sick gat them all...I just seen them With Hatebreed it was sick this is the3rd time Ive seen them and they just get better and better with every tour
Yeah, The only song i like out of The Impossibility Of Reason is Pure Hatred, i have The Infection, i want to buy the Resurrection, I havent even heard a song off of that album, anybody here reccomend i get it?
Maybe I'm just old school, but I still like Pass Out of Existence the most... But I will say, since this seems to be the topic of discussion, that The Infection is a bit better than Resurrection. I think they tried to take their sound more main stream in Resurrection, and it kind've hurt their sound. Either way, I still love the band.
Resurrection is so much better than The Infection. I dunno it just sounds so much more inspired...Infection is too slow. and I'm not saying that slow is bad at all...Resurrection isn't particulary fast either...but alot of infection sounds the same whereas in Resurrection, every song was unique. I'm hoping it'll grow on me cause I love chimaira but as of right now I feel its a little lacking.
I don't know about that. Resurrection was alright. I love the stuff off of Infection but I don't think either album is better than the other or worse. They're both different Chimaira records.
self titled was a straight up in your face cd. ressurection was a lot more technical. its looking like infection is going to be more of a groove album where its heavy but you just want to bob ur head to it!
unfortunatelly nothing great after the selftitled... that one was amazing, but resurrection and the songs i heard so far from this new one...they got the potential, but they always just scratch the surface
comparing albums is useless

I think The Infection is a little slow, but it has some unique guitar riffs.
I'm still favoriting Resurrection.
They're both amazing albums!
